"Note" used to be premium device for Samsung but now it is "Ultra". Messing up with model names. I personally liked much more when there was one Note model and that was best what Samsung could offer.

It's the trick of showing a slightly cheaper but much worse product, to make the other one (Ultra) look much better, and make people spend MORE to buy that other product, because "it's more worth it".
In other words, it's not that people aren't falling for the brand trick, they're ALL falling for the "I want the better product even if it costs more" trick, giving way more money to Samsung.

The vanilla Note20 is straight out bad tbh. I can’t understand how a brand as serious as Samsung really made a 1000$ plastic hybrid midrange...
How can someone spend that much on this phone?? Just break your wallet and go for the Note 20 Ultra or for other real flagships such as the S20+, Mi 10 Ultra, Oneplus 8 pro or even the iPhone 11 Pro.

Note 20 vanilla is one of the worst VFM purchases in the past few years (referring to only mainstream phones).

Hello scamsung, you play a dirty games with customers, 1 using their own exynos to make more and more profit compared to sd because it is a samsung soc and they make money from selling it in 99% of countries but in other sensible market like their own korea and usa due to network colpatibility sd 2, using the note 20 as a trap for people to buy the note 20 ultra + making money of the note 20 wich doesn't worth 1/3 of it's price if the pen, S-PEN IS NOT NEEDED BECAUSE IT IS WORSE THAN THE COMPETITION, if you compare it to the like of poco f2 pro, k30 ultra, realme x7 pro, oneplus 8, 8 pro, mi 10 and even s20 and s20+

Well played Samsung. They created the Note20 as cannon fodder for everyone to just pay $300 extra for the Note 20 Ultra. It would've been more cost efficient for Samsung to just release only the Note 20 Ultra as the Note 20.
