      In market where Redmi Note 8 pro & Redmi Note 7 pro available, this will definitely a flop.
      Xiaomi & Realme price to performance ratio is unbeatable in Asia, Infinix has no chance unless they sell this 'overpriced' device to Africa (overpriced as Redmi Note 8 pro nowadays is cheap, and devices with Helio G70 & G80 don't different much, performance-wise, compared to G90T)
      If Huawei could get the 'normal' Dimensity 800, why would Infinix choose G90T if they want to sell it much more expensive than Redmi note 8 pro right now?
      People would prefer Dimensity 800 for market outside of China over the 'old' Helio G90T right now.
      As Huawei lacks GMS and most likely won't sell their Dimensity-powered devices outside China, and Xiaomi 10x are nowhere to be found, this is actually a good chance for Infinix to bring Dimensity SoC outside China.

Ok, I'm exaggerating by calling it trash but it's just meh. (I did call it mediocre before, not trash) The 1 year old Redmi Note 8 Pro has it and that was launched at basically the same price. I'd expect a bigger improvement over phones from a year ago than just a slight refresh rate upgrade and a bit faster charging. The Redmi 10X 5G has a significantly more powerful Dimensity 820 and launched for only 20 bucks more. The Dimensity 800 doesn't seem outlandish in a phone like this now does it?

        And don't put words into my mouth. I'm not asking for an 865+ in a $211 phone. I'm simply asking for even a slight upgrade after a year.

          Like 6GB ram with infinix zero 5 and Infinix note 7 pro, both have weak chipsets. Other companies aren't foolish to launch the phones with G70 with only 3-4GB ram. Infinix usually pairs a weak or last year chipset with large amount of ram to look good. Till now its flagship chipset was g70 that other brands used in their entry level phones

          And 48MP camera? No name brand phones from AliExpress with lower res cameras take better pics.

          Cheap isn't always bad, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Redmi by Xiaomi all are producing good devices that have balanced specs but going infinix cheap is like buying a pair of shoes that is one size smaller on one foot and one size bigger on the other and willing to put up with it. Infinix phones have unbalanced specs that only have marketable numbers for the fools to buy. Actual performance is mediocre at best.

            There are macro/super-wide/tele lens for a reason. Also considering main camera, you can use better hw and gcam, how is it worse even if other brand is not as good with stock camera app - if you want to compare main cameras only... sales say it all in the end...

              It's your lack of knowledge, it's not brand's prob if the SoC does not support UFS, though it's best in budget.

                            Everything else is equivalent to Snapdragon 665

                            1. No hexagon dsp
                            2. Vid capture 4k@30fps, fhd @120, 720p@240
                            3. 4g cat 12/13, 720G has Cat13/15
                            4. No AptX support

                            There's a reason Xiaomi upgraded to 720G in redmi note 9 pro from note 8 pro and oppo from reno 3 pro to reno 4 pro too

                            Also from my experience of infinix note 7, cost cutting is horrible in things that matter. Their touch response isn't good, gyro sensors are unstable and not accurate, storage is EMMC where everyone else is on UFS 2.1, camera lens are of cheaper quality so resolved detail is less than even 12-16 mega pixel cameras, XOS has ads and bloatware, no gorilla glass protection, updates are regular but each new update introduces 5-6 new bugs while solving 2-3 old ones, bluetooth headset support is very buggy, it'll have either high latency or the lowest bitrate that sounds like a telephone call not hifi music, accessories provided are filmsy. In quad camera, there was 1 macro, 1 sensor vga and the other qcif, no ultrawide camera so usable camera was only one with medicore results.
