I hope they launch a no nonsense phone with rectangular screen (no holes ) , headphone jack, metal body, rear fingerprint sensor, good battery and no useless cameras. A perfect successor to Max pro m1 (Max pro m2 had notch).

I thought they discontinued 200 series Snapdragon. I had a moto e 1st gen and it worked fine.

domraym, 29 Aug 2020Just in time to replace my max pro m1. The camera sucks and... moreJust use gcam man. I use max pro m1 too and with gcam it can throw a punch or two against the 48mp sensors of redmi and realme. You just have to find the right version. I use a modded version from a dev called parrot.

Very humble request to stay away from Asus. No matter the hardware specifications provided by Asus are good enough but the software provided just meets the bottom line. Moreover this lack nullifies the zeal of a good hardware.

The camera sucks and... moreAs a fellow user, I would really like it if Asus gives add simple video and image gallery apps. Due to the mount location and storage access framework restrictions, I cannot read usb otg files on almost all third party apps. I have to use Google files to view media files which is a horrible experience. Sometimes a 'little' bloatware is actually helpful.
And screenshots. The stock screenshot system is atrocious.

Otherwise, I am quite satisfied. May buy a better Asus phone if it comes with 7-series processor, OLED screen and sdcard.

Just in time to replace my max pro m1. The camera sucks and it still runs android 9 but the screen, battery life and the stockish skin with no bloatware is awesome. I am expecting more support for these newer devices since they considerably narrowed their lineup

Asus should work on providing regular updates to their budget phones instead on new phones.
Note: Please don't buy Asus's budget phones. I'm using Max Pro M1 and it's still running on Android 9 while Android 10 nowhere to see. Asus do not provide regular updates and when they do they push buggy updated which sometimes destroyes the phone motherboard.
