TheLastOracle, 08 Sep 2020Till PUBG was limited to console and PC gaming, it was fine... moreI'm not understanding your logic. It was okay when it was Korean owned and not when it was Chinese owned? What exactly was strange with it when it became Chinese owned?

Till PUBG was limited to console and PC gaming, it was fine, privately owned and Korean. Then they moved to the mobile space where the Chinese company bought equity (it owned the mobile gaming business), and thats where things started getting strange. Most members of the party own companies or fund them. That's why even ali baba has been pledged and jack ma has literally moved out. I guess more people are becoming aware that a company is a lot more than just he Corporate front.

Sad. But it's probably a good decision to only allow transparent and trusted apps.

Now just tries to be a tech site while posting news only about very few other tech then phones. Time to time about game consoles and graphics cards but thats about it. and seems more and more news for India/china markets. Cause of the news mostly are copy paste with the Asia currencies still in the text and probably never get a global release too

The shareholders are the owners of the companies, not the government. And the government can't just kill a company, that's legally impossible.

Great news for India... PUBG Mobile... Unbanned...!!!! And the latest update that was released a few hours ago... Actually has a 90FPS button after the Extreme button in the graphical settings menu.

Still, legally they own the companies, so they can still kill every company if they want to, so basically somehow they do own the tech. A country can do so much bad to the people, as long as they don't revolt (which will happen immediatley)

One relates to anti-trust and anti-competition laws and the other relates to national security. They couldn't be more different. The US government does not own the technology but can prevent US companies from exporting it.
