Rather, GizChina is biased. I follow both sites on Facebook and I can tell you that GizChina has mis-reported articles way more often than AA. Their language is not as professional as AA.

Most kids can't afford a decent gaming rig/consoles and/or paid games, but a lot of them could afford a decent smartphone made by Chinese manufacturers that can run the game.
In fact, a majority portion of the E-sports community there are mobile players (PUBG Mobile, COD Mobile, Free Fire etc.). I think it's important for them, specially the E-sport players and streamers who depend on the game.
PUBG Mobile also generates a big revenue through selling skins and stuff from India.

          P.S.: I'm not from India.

Just like Activision's course of action with COD Mobile by ending partnership with Tencent Games. This may be beneficial and more sustainable in the long term as the game can be less monetized because devs has more revenue. Tencent has been known to be notoriously greedy just like Epic Games Fortnite. Tencent has a 30% stake of Epic.

If the game still works, people can just sideload it on Android. Can't do that on iOS though, but then only 1% of Indians have an iPhone.
