I mean, between punch hole or notch and this, I'd always take this. Especially since I don't ever use selfie cam other than for mirror functionality. When there is notification bar, it's probably not visible at all unless the clarity of icons chances once they appear on that part...

if people can ignore the existence of notches, holes, droplets etc on their screen
then this will easily ...

Imagine going through all that headache just to get the same fulldisplay you'd get by simply removing the useless selfie camera, but not archiving privacy and rather to push toward main sensor unification with better ToF making the opposite by focusing efforts on sensors under the display...
All that while of course getting a lesser display, poor picture quality and a huge security improvement for any biometric...
Yeah, just put a pop up or remove the front camera, no need for those underdisplay gimmick, the worse solution to a non existing problem, well actually the problem is the front camera itself.
The only thing that should be under the display are ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, because ultrasound, you know, pass THROUGH solid matter, unlike light.

It's barely noticeable, but would the OLED elements degrade at different rates over long term? A subtle color shift would make it more conspicuous.

Arrange stripes from horizontal and vertical
,both only half, so it’s not 720p, but 540p

I mean it's pretty impressive to be honest, if you can really find fault with this then you must be difficult to please.

Actually I don't think ZTE had shared any details about how they had solved the blurred image issues with the under display camera. Good to see they sorted that out, not that I cared for the impact of having a year drop selfie camera on any of my other handsets.
What I am more interested in is where outside of China will this device be released? Bands and transmission technology to match my network providers is the most important news I am looking for.

Actually I don't believe any details about the way the under screen camera managed to work thru the display have been shared by ZTE. Makes sense that a lower pixel density solves the blurred image issues reported on other prototypes.
I just want to know if there is a version of the handset for other countries like Germany, italy, Malaysia or Australia as they all had the right frequency options for use where I am located.

Hhm. Doesn't look great. But surely it's better than having the equivalent of dead pixels with a punch hole or teardrop notch cutout..?
