Xiaomi Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro will have 144Hz LCDs with motion interpolation

14 September 2020
While most Mi 10 phones use OLED panels, the T-series will break from the pack to offer higher refresh rate.

"The Mi 10T Pro will feature 108MP main module and will start at €640, the Mi 10T Pro will have a 64MP sensor and will go for €550."

So, the same phone will start from 640 and 550...I'm confused?!?

Anyway, poco f2 is now less than 350...unbeatable value!

    J. , 14 Sep 2020Too expensive and is not better than OP 8 proI don't think they'll come back to lower price flagships in near future, rather bring new and better technology (UD cam's next) to compete other brands big toys. Speaking of their current "main" flagships (Mi 10, 11). Cheaper are available, can't pack it all though. Mi 10, F2 Pro (on the same market). This 10T just can't be better and cheaper than 10 Pro at the same time. If none of these cheaper SD865 phones is good enough for you, then yes you should go for another brand.

IpsDisplay, 14 Sep 2020How is the natural decay of organic compenents.... A fu... moreIndeed, burn-in is far from over, but the proper quality and recent Oled do have quite a long lifetime expectancy nowadays, that's what some probably meab, also LCD also have burn-in, significantly less, but still have it nonetheless, but some indeed wrongly state that burn-in is non existant, even though it doesn't appear (with a normal use) over the 3 years over which peoples change their phones, it still happen, mainly if not properly managing your display, that's one of the reason, along with a cleaner and better appearance, why I have no icons on my main page and my wallpaper is changing at each unlock.

Anyway the futur is E-Ink reflective type Graphene displays, or GIMOD for Graphene Interferometric MOdulator Display, they are better in every aspects, extremely low power requirement (can keep an image without requiring power), can work without backlightning but can still use one for low light and HDR, can easily go up to insane refresh rate, can be made with a pixel density easily 10 times greater than the typical smartphone display, I don't think they suffer any kind of short/medium term wear I wouldn't be surprised if they can last for decades).

MEMC for life. I really missed this feature. I used Lenovo golden warrior mobile which had MEMC. It spoiled me. Going to get this for sure.

A fundamental law of chemistry some how fixed with OLED to a point where oled has no burn in anymore??

Are people even reading forums for oled smartphones ???

Do people worship oled to this point where people start implying or making up science?

Maybe the price is impacted by other factors I could be wrong though

Exactly. Burn in oleds are yesterday's problem. Even cheap amoled phones aren't getting a burn in nowadays.

And in xiaomi devices, i noticed the static graphics on status bar such as clock, battery, wifi etc are always moving itself 1 or 2 pixels from its place to prevent burn in.

It did happen on my Nexus 6 before, but I was also able to clear it up with one of those videos that run for like 10 hours or something. I haven't had the problem with any newer phones. I'm not necessarily in the OLED is infinitely better than LCD camp, but I think once you get above a certain price threshold OLED is expected.

*Mi 10T Pro with the peasant punch hole rather than the master race pop up can't be a Mi 10T Pro.
*Without the 3.5mm Jack it is worthless, with No SD card slot it is worthless, but without both, it is a sub worthless bad things following the worse trends.
*LCD, why not, but only with addressable backlight to have the sweet sweet AOD.
*A only 8MP Telephoto isn't great, I guess they didn't included a periscope Telephoto + Portrait combo, and a good 5MP minimum Macro is missing over the Poco F2 Pro.

Xiaomi is disappointing with this one.

                          Plz do not remove 3.5mmjack

If this ia true then good job Xiaomi. I want a Snapdragon 865 phone with IPS screen and there is none other that the Vivo iQOO Neo3 5G but Vivo is bad because hard or impossible to unlock bootloader and no custom roms but it also doesn't have all LTE bands for my coutry. This might be my next phone. I like Xiaomi more and more. :)
