Thegreenthing, 17 Jul 2012Yeah as if all your andriod phone can upgrade to ICSW. dont... moreICSW = ? What the heck are you talking about . Galaxy S i9000 is 2 year and one month old phone ... and it has a Jelly Bean ROM up and running . No official ICS and JB , but CM and AOKP ROMs are stable , fully functional . So I don't get your point . On the other hand Lumia 900 is 2 months old and is dead as far as WP8 is concerned !

Windows phone must remember like :

          - On windows mobile 6 pro, that's easy connecting, plug n play to computer.

          - All the good system on windows mobile such as connect to printer you can put on Windows Phone 8.

Once again remember on windows mobile system, user friendly & easy plug n play !

Gsmarena said by 2016 (NOT slightly after quarter past 8PM) WP will be the number one selling OS

Nokia were making smartphones that multi-tasked albeit on Symbian and numeric keypad when SMART & PHONE was technically still TWO words

My point is this I have An ANDROID PHONE and will stick with Android.... but now Nokia or should I say WP has caught up and the thing missing microSD expansion is now or will be available

So as good as the Lumia 800 is and as fanatastic the Lumia 900, NO microSD

It really doesn't matter to me Dual core Quad core as you can see the SGS III added very little to the overall specs of the SGS II

To me it is a phone first so HD games as a justification is just that a game

Typical MSoft "hit-n-miss" marketing and "innovation'. From every other desktop OS (XP2vista2win7) to xbox to others. Had WP8 been launched as WP7 Redmond would likely have a respectable market share. And yet they've plugged along and Windows Phones are becoming viable smartphone choices albeit still lacking the marketing 'punch' necessary to attract more OEM and MSP attention. Still it is nice to see the feature sets advancing and maturing. Keep it up MSoft.

You getting what Android already got and WM have/had with apps.

Perhaps you might be trusted with Bluetooth File transfer, by MS in WP9...

You can be for sure, there will not be a free upgrades from WP8 to WP9 and most likely not even to WP8.x

when i bought my s2 1.5 yrs back it didn't lag wen it was new but within few days after installing 10 or 12 apps it started lagging esp when pinching in to view all the home screens or when live wallpaper is running.....so i thought may be it wasn't powerful enough for android so i bought htc one s few days back...same thing happened initially i ran smoothly but now after installing 10-20 apps it also lags...task killer seems to eat up battery more and no relief....now please tell me how many cores android requires to run smoothly.....my bro's windows phone runs so smoothly it feels like flying under your thumb even after installing so many apps dat too on a single core.....now i love android and its apps but why android doesn't run smoothly even on a dual core krait processor.....its just pathetic....
but we don't have too many options, apple is a waste of money....windows doesn't have apps and android is too buggy and symbian is dead, meego never really came out and bada is lets just say carbon copy of android.... best among these is android hence the huge market share...

Actually that is not wrong information. quad core CPUs will drain the battery faster, and a combination of quad core CPU and big battery will generate more heat. It's just electronics. It doesn't mean it cannot be controlled though. I think too that quad-cores on smartphones are a little to "more marketing, less utility". And for those who state that quad-cores CPUs are for gaming... WRONG. GPUs are for gaming. Study more and talk less.

Who needs a quadcore phone ? Android needs quadcore to run his crappy and lousy interface.

Since the first day of Windows Phone 7, mass storage was a big miss for me, if Microsoft adds this function in WP8, i will drop my N8 for a WP8.
