Iphone 12 (5,4" screen) according to latest news may start at $750 .
Basic storage version that still may be 64GB.
12 Pro Max 256GB will never be less than $1400.
Waiting for the announcement to see if ppl will demand lower price or forgive like they do to Samsung.

Also the weaker ISP from 7xx would make results inferior to 1ii.
Pixel 3 and 3a use same imx363 and same software.
Outcome is different in favor of pixel 3, because better ISP from 845.
Not about gaming here the main issue.
Also, I had Real Racing 3 on my LG tablet with Snap 400. Never had issues or lag.
CPU alone does not make the phone expensive.
If Samsung makes a version of s20 ultra with SD768, it would never cost less than $700 like some ppl here may think. Price would not drop $400, $500 or $700 by changing cpu only.

Most flagships these days are taller, wider and heavier. Gonna wait and see if the new compact line rumor comes true. Won't even consider a Samsung phone if SD 875 will beat Exynos 1000

It's well done article, subjectively but still, well done. Everything is covered up. Sony has to face very fierce competition from older sd865 devices, battle of features and prices.

Sony doesn’t sell phones anymore in my country but I remember their early Xperia Z series phones which used TFT panels and had washed out colours. Their camera never stood up to Samsung’s or Apple’s. Their UI aesthetics were just bad with grey backgrounds and blue-white 3D icons.

For demanding games like pubg sd835 just doesn't cut it.
Even with gfx tool it is capable of pushing 60fps for 10 min maximum before starts to throttle.

Why is everyone complaining that Gsmarena compared S20 and 5 II? Exynos maybe crap but there are SD versions of S20 available too just think Gsmarena is comparing these two and another reason is that Samsung is kind of a benchmark, S20s may have crappy SoC but otherwise are pretty great phones and considering the price, display size these phones make perfect comparison

Even then, a GPU that's better than the GPU of a SD835 would still be more than enough to handle the heaviest of games today. Even PUBG Mobile runs at a consistent 40fps in the highest graphics settings, and can go all the way to 60fps with the help of GFX Tool.
Point is, performance levels starting from SD835 would be far more than enough for what people would actually use their phones for the most part.

...and the US still get screwed over for the second time. No 5G support. Apparently we get to fork over megabucks for the PRO model if it ever releases for thst "feature". What a crock of BS.

Funny gsma believes there was any chance sony using SD765 just to make it cheaper, just like Google, Zte and HTC decided to do.
7xx is not able to do 4K@60, no Bluetooth 5.1 support and cant use ddr5 ram.
Sony would not be dumb to make mark ii weaker than mark i, duh !!!! 765G is even weaker than SD845.
