On a scale of 1 to 10, how screwed do you feel as a Lumia 900 purchaser?

Same release month as the new iPhone. Let the battle begins! Windows and iOS dilemma xD

For Android fans: Don't ever say they both suck because Android is an unstable OS no matter how many cores your droid phone has! =P

[deleted post]Kid? Sure you are and that makes you specifically name yourself as "TheMan"!

Sure go ahead with Android, no doubt it being open source you can do anything with it. So, port an actual fully functional OS into it if the platform is optimized enough as you say it is. Sure, you may need like a 30 core cpu then to run it and all that battery power then to power that kind of cores, ultimately making it as hot as an oven.

WP8 has the capability of so much more that has ever been done, features in the roadmap that are yet to be announced and all that which will run buttery smooth in dual/quad core processors.

Hence, yes there is a limit to where Android can go!

den, 20 Jul 2012When WP8 phone will come it will be the end of the Android,... moredamn man you are a world class spammer you know that???if u don't you learned it now...how can you say for a product that is not even out yet that it will ruin all existing platforms...not even the developers know what will come out on October...How can WP8 ruin Android when Android is an improvement of windows and all the Os-es out there except for Apple...Is WP8 gonna be able to fly along with their users???I bet that if IPhone 5 comes out right after WP8 Nokia will be out of business...No one will buy a WP8 smartphone with questionable "everything" to a fully equipped IPhone 5 which will be a major improvement of the 4S...the Galaxy S3 might tremble a bit as a device but Android will have HTC devices to back them up with Jelly Bean on board not to mention the S3 will surely get that upgrade

Arablord, 20 Jul 2012100% agreed.... i own a Nokia C7... one of the world class ... moreWe are discussing WP8 here. Do not discuss Symbian! And do not bother to come and post comments when you have limited knowledge. Comparing Symbian to current gen Android when WP8 is being discussed. Good Christ!

lapax, 20 Jul 2012they abandoned symbian, rightly so. They abandoned Windows ... moreYou need to get your facts right. When they said Windows Phone will be the next Gen OS, they meant WP8 with Windows 8 Kernel. WP 7/7/5 based on Windows CE was a mere transition. Now that the transition is complete and they can have a mobile os running on Windows Kernel the only changes will be techno feature enhancements, making the mobile nothing less than a full fledged computer.

Do I want a mobile running a full fledged Operating System? Yes, i.e. WP8 inside the best hardware, i.e. Nokia = Nokia WP8

Do I want a mobile running merely a mobile os, i.e. Android/iOS? No, not at all, never!!

peter009, 20 Jul 2012nokia is selfish that is why they do not want to join Andr... more100% agreed.... i own a Nokia C7... one of the world class mobile phone which nobody realized it can do grate than any mid-range phone... the reason i brought Samsung Galaxy SII T989 was because my Nokia C7 started lacking games & application.... I have Spiderman, Need for Speed, Avatar, Transformer, Asphalt 6 and more. if you go to nokia store you won't find any interesting application, all the application there are mess. i have been using nokia for like 6-7 years now... what is the big deal.. if you product a phone running android? you can still be running you Windows mobiles phone and other platform and see how you share improves... i really want Nokia to take back what belong to his! that is the No. SPOT...

                        NB...
If Nokia is to product a phone with an android platform i bet i will be the first person to buy it...!!!

they abandoned symbian, rightly so. They abandoned Windows Mobile. they said Windows phone was the next generation os, they have abandoned that as well. Meego was abandoned before it even got a chance to live. Now how long will Windows 8 last until they realise they again need a completely new os to accommodate changes. maybe they should get their base right?

When WP8 phone will come it will be the end of the Android, Symbian and BlackBerry ios.
Who manages to survive the WP8 phone is just Apple with its iPhone.

Doesn't matter if any of the iOS Android fan boys do not like or buy the WP8. I am definately buying one and will enjoy all the unlimited things I can get to do with the power of WP8 (Windows 8 Kernel) apart from the continuos updates that I shall be getting.

Actually I will be carrying an actual pc in my pocket compared to the iOS/Android fanners who can only do limited stuff.

Thanks to Windows 8 Kernel, there is no limit to where WP8 can go..

iOS/Android please do not buy WP8, that will give me a chance to show off and flaunt my device (and its capabilities).
