Stephen Elop suggests an October release for Windows Phone 8

While talking about Nokia's Q2 earnings, CEO Stephen Elop let it slip that WP8 will be coming in October.

                    THE FANDROID, 22 Jul 2012dude am in electronic in college. wp is a close source vs a... morei totally agree... anyway, isnt it too early to judge wp8? they havent even released it yet. wp8 broke the link to wp7. so there is a huge chance that it would be a tottaly different from its predecessors. and isnt iphone a close system too? but it is a great hit... its not like i hate android (i own samsung note, iphone 4, nokia n8).

Very practical and usable. Seen it's capabilities in WP 7 and i was amazed. WP 8 will surely be revolutionary. I'm glad Nokia is in the middle of the action. :)

                                Some of you all acting as if Android was never a new OS on the market which had to grow....Mark you Windows isn't all that new to the market but.it's been refurbish,repolished and relaunched,and now ready to grow as an OS and it will...just remember Nokia won't be the only company using the OS!

                                    i feel let down by nokia. so i am now using android and boy have i made the right decision. well i dont think will rush out and buy another new phone, just to get the new os. so at least i am in a position to upgrade to ice cream sandwich without buying a new phone. so i think windows will be good.
