I would definitely consider the Snapdragon version if I were in the market for a new device now.
It seems to make the right sacrifices - I'm OK with the plastic back when my phone always lives in a case anyway, and I don't miss 1440p even when I did have it before on the LG G4.

I can confirm in Italy we will have both Exynos and Snapdragon this time (usually it's always Exynos apart from the exception like Galaxy A71 or S10 Lite)
Exynos 990 (4G only) at 670€ and Snapdragon 865 (5G) version at 770€

Ehm... How is the pricing in YOUR country? Here in Germany, you can get the S20 for about 580€. The FE 5G is at 730€.
The FE 5G needs a price drop of about 300€ to be an alternative.

This phone is specifically launched to compete with iPhone 12 lowest model at 600-700$.
As that will be the model most people will get their hands on.
In most aspects the S20 FE 5g is similar and better in some cases.

AnonD-940827, 27 Sep 2020Denmark gets exynos too. So not all Europe.! USA, Canada and South korea are the countries that will get SD... Rest will get exynos chipset... Hopefully people understand that getting a s20 with enynos is like buying an s10 all over again.. s10 in disguise.. with higher price... 😁🤮

Full of bloatware, slow soc(exynos), bad battery, slow updates because of the bloatware and a phone that has its own life while you sleep?
No thanks.
Would be interesting with oxygen os though, and the sd865+. 512gb storage and 16gb ram. Then I would go back.
