After the disappointment that was the Note 20, I'm glad the 5G SD version is available on my carrier, so I'll definitely give this one a try.

Ditto, my country also only got the exynos version and it's more expensive than the snapdragon one in America. So, NO.

In Europe you can get both models. The S20FE 4G+ model (Exynos 990) for 100 euro less than the 5G model (SD865).
If you are not a mobile game junky, that plays for hours p2w games everyday, you will be still satisfied with Exynos 990 performance.

Oh I'll jump alright. To an Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition or a Redmi K30 Pro instead.

AnonD-948658, 27 Sep 2020India again Exynos dumping ground. Lost all trust in Samsun... moreI'm in the US and today 9/26 Amazon has the 5g model Snapdragon 865 processer for 599.00 USD. Excellent price if you ask me, a great deal hard to turn down plus the 120hz display & the 4500mamp 🔋. Say goodnight pixel5 at 700.00 bucks!

I'm the owner of "full" S20 since April and I just can't stand it's real zoom that is missing in "full" S20. This zoom thing is literally the only one thing that I really miss on S20 as this 64 Mpix gimmick is, unfortunately, visible and very, very poor when compared to eg. P40 or even last year's OnePlys 7T Pro's optical 3x zoom. 8k videos so highly advertised on "Regular" S20's is, in my opinion, another gimmick. I'd personally wish to have QHD resolution recording instead of this 8k.

India again Exynos dumping ground. Lost all trust in Samsung. I don’t have any hopes for 2021 A series models as well. OnePlus wins again in India.

Still be waiting to be released and reviews of :
Xiaomi mi10T Pro
OnePlus 8T
iPhone 12
S20 5G FE itself
and then I'll choose...
P.S. Pixel 5 fell out of the list because of all insanity with release date, price and hardware set...

Not all europe gets snapdragon. It seems that in Baltics we are still getting that shitty exynos. So i'm still stuck with battery draining and randomly overheating s20+.
Last samsung for me

I personally just feel Samsung are handing a slap to there so called previous customers face, only when it tries to sell as many standard S20s does it release the cheaper model.
The way it’s looking Apple are introducing an iPhone 12 Mini and standard iPhone 12 alongside each other.
More to the point I still don’t get why “Fan Edition”, does a fan really already have a 120Hz display or Extra Cameras, more likely someone possibly upgrading might be coming from sat an S8 or S9 or plus models, even a 90Hz panel, Dual Cameras, No Wireless Charging, and importantly something that’s TRADITIONALLY been there since the S6, A PROPER GLASS BACK.

I maybe able to live without the 3.5mm jack, but no AptX at all and only wireless? This is a big miss for me. Regardless of almost hitting every nail (5G Qualcomm variant of course).
