why get a higher mah when a lower one gets higher endurance that those having higher mah?
choose your poison. gsmarena publishes battery endurance rating and proven that higher mah doesnt always result to higher endurance...
educate yourself first...

Two things I couldn't care less about. I never use my phone on full brightness. And I am not a 12 - 25 year taking selfies that then just get a stupid filter put over the top and passed through trash apps with poor compression like FB and Snapchat....

2) 5040 x 2160 is exaclty 2:33:1 , bit it's 5K already
3) 4K 21:9 used by cinematography industry is cropped, actually it is 2,37:1 . Which would be less pixels than this screen
4) you would not be able to play 4K video on it
Videocameras mostly used by industry to record up to 4K have between 8,5 - 12MP with same 3:2 sensor like photo cameras. This because lower MP increases readout speed consequently less rolling shutter for videos.
This way to record 21:9, the top and bottom are cropped because there are not enough horizontal pixels to use, since 16:9 already uses whole sensor horizontally.

If it's the main camera, you're delusional at the best, if it's the IMX557's 12 MP 1.8μm 1/1.7" 24 mm is lackluster when it's not, considering there some flagship using much lower sensor than IMX 557 and one of biggest pixel pitch camera sensor on non-Quad Bayer type to exist since Nokia Lumia days. If it's the selfie camera, well, I admit that, they should give better specs on 1 III, either brighther aperture or better sensor.

Some use more, some less in horizontal line, some less in vertical, may be confusing then, but its definitely easier to present than some phase many don't get.

4) you are asking as camera manufacturer to give fake results? That's pathetic ..
* 1ii already uses 120Hz hardware. You cannot use 4K@120 because of CPU cannot handle.
* stainless is way more expensive. Also since XZ3, Sony uses frame 200% stronger than alluminum according to them. Stainless is much heavier.

It looks even better than stills, just what kind of perfection you want... 120 hdr? its better to have something than nothing.
Even latest sony mirrorless cameras lack 8K, certainly its useless to those who do not record video or use camera while holding phone vertical, bet no screen with reasonable price got enough pixels to show that in this world yet or in near future lol.

I'm not even sure why GSMarena insists on calling the X1II's display 4k. It's not. The only real 4k resolution is 3840x2160, full stop. The one found on the Xperia XZ Premium. The Xperia 1II uses 3840x1644 which is most assuredly below 4k. Yes, I know it's because it's 21:9. But I'll give you an exercise. Go to LG, Dell and ViewSonic websites and search for 21:9 PC monitors with the same resolution as the X1II (3840x1650), and you will discover that all 3 of these brands are saying the monitor is WQHD+, not 4k. Now, I'm sure they would love to be able to say 4k, but I'm also sure they know that PC enthusiasts would call them out on that, so they don't' do it, because it's not 4k. The Xperia 1 II is WQHD+. And, it doesn't even display that resolution all the time. It only does it when the phone is streaming 21:9 high definition video from Netflix, etc. During normal use, the phone uses the same resolution as the Xperia 5II (2560x1080) which is WFHD+, in order to save battery. What does that mean? That the Xperia 1 II could have easily offered 120hz refresh rate in normal use, given that it doesn't even use that fancy maximum resolution outside of media playback. But if they did that, Sony couldn't have slapped that "4k" label on it anymore, because it just doesn't add up. So yeah, I doubt the Xperia 1 III will come with a real 4k display, unless they give up on the 21:9 aspect ratio, and go back to 16:9.

Sony has made many things right with Mark 2. But 4000 batterry and 8gb ram is not the specs for 1300. At this price I expect 5000mah 12gb ram and 5 camera
