No. Hardware needs a jump in specs. It's good for 2 years. Not more than that.

I am not getting Pixel or Google mobiles since they drop the ball and change their product lines with mindless pricing strategies and playing hit or miss game in the matured consumer market which has plenty of competing yet better value for money products with good service and after sale support, resale value etc....Google is messing up the product lines with keep giving confusing offerings. They should have continued with their Nexus strategy like Samsung & Apple stick with their flagships from the beginning. Pixel 5 Pricing is really crazy....

The google pixel phones are good value in this present climate with lots of unemployment and uncertainty both phones are loads cheaper than apple and run the latest android o/s

The Pixel when it arrives here will be at least 800 or 900. Whereas the rog phone 3 is already going for 700 here. Now I'm no gamer but at least I get SD 865 + with 12 gb ram and 6000 mah battery, 144 hz RR, 3.5mm jack etc etc and what not, it's miles ahead in features than the Pixel at a much lower price. Okay the pixel got a good camera but it's not my priority. Rest everything is easily way better in the Asus

So I'd choose the 4a since I'm just looking for a medium sized phone. I knew just one guy that had a pixel, he spent almost 1000 on it and the phone has issues in it. Got a replacement though.

But other markets, with official distribution for Google phones, may fare a bit better.

Was waiting under I found out the price and small battery with tiny screens..No thanks, both 4a -5g/5g are overprice and under spec, I got a Poco F2 Pro 8gb/256gb with top SD 865 for under $471.
I dont give a hoot about 1high refresh rate as it eats battery and I do not game anyway. More important for me is battery life and screen size....would have been even better if my Poco was 6.8" or larger. Fact is majority of people wants a larger screen and more battery power nobody gives a crap about it being a few mm thicker if you have a great screen and battery life; as you can use it more without needing a tablet anymore hence Phablet rules since the first generation of Samsung Note series.
Happy with my F2 Pro With 6.67", 4700Mah battery & SD 865 powerhouse, that last me nearly 2 days, beat that Google.

I don't know what people are looking for really, you think samsung is better with all that bloatware and mediocre software? I have the onepluses and they are probably better but meh, have this weird feel to them, maybe the body make and weight it is. I am not even going to mention other android phones. IPhone, well be my guest, pay extra and get smart app drawer as annual software updates which have the launchers on android can do. I think these pixel phones are value for money.

I would buy pixel 4a 5g but it's only available in few selected countries. If only its widely available around the world, I bet more Pixel phones would sell.
