        The problem here is one of theft, and Samsung has been proven to have copycatted Apple's design. Litigation has now scared them off and they showed that they could actually design their own phones (SGS3). Ugly, but at least their own design.

        Their copycatting was unfair even to other Android manufacturers who worked hard at their own designs such as Sony, HTC and LG. You think Apple is the only one annoyed? In my opinion it is the other Android manufacturers who are also annoyed, and now finally pleased that the truth is out.

              The thing is apple does steel majorly and jobs was not ashamed to admit that he stole many great inventions. Now go look up all the real innovations and inventions from Samsung, Nokia, and Motorola to start off.

                Apple saying Samsung is copying is one thing, but

                -Your own Product Designs Group says the Galaxy S looks similar

                -Famous designers from your own sponsored evaluation said so

                - Here's the kicker, Even Google the company that is probably the most responsible for your success says you copy Apple too much.

                Samsung fans can bury their heads in the sand all they want, but that is pretty damning evidence that Samsung was a copycat.

                  - iCloud service over all iOS devices (iOS5 and above)and on all macs and even pc's
                  - siri natural language
                  - a better 3D maps
                  - hand gestures (check the original keynote on 2007)


                  ok, those are only a few but i guess you get the point. apple may have copied "some" features from other companies but that's normal. everyone's copying from many other but apple NEVER copy from only ONE company. unlike this crappy company called "samsung".

                    first of all, their are feautres that the gs lack from the iphone 4.
                    - no flash
                    - thicker than the iphone 4
                    - much lower resolution
                    - the 4 has better graphics
                    - no video-calling
                    - less than satisfying sound quality than the 4
                    - no ICS (let alone JB)
                    - the 4 has better battery

                    now, for the s2.
                    - an even lower resolution than the 4s (lower than galaxy s actually)
                    - not upgradable to JB w/out a hack (unofficial yet)
                    - a much slower camera than the s2 (4s takes less than a second to take stills)
                    - 4s has much better graphics
                    - quite laggy at some points
                    - 4s has better audio quality
                    - a ton of user complaints when they've upgrade to ICS
                    - the 4s has much more units SOLD (not shipped) than the s2 (s2 = 28 million/4s = 36 million)

SGS3, basically, not a copy. Strange that in your rant you dont mention how other companies like HTC, Nokia, Sony are all able to have their own unique look.

                      All it took was a bit of litigation on Apple's part and voila! Suddenly Samsung can design their own phone. Rant over.

                        Anonymous, 29 Jul 2012Funny, how apple think Samsung has started to dominate due ... moreThe SGS3 is nothing like Apple design BECAUSE of Apple's strong litigation with regards to the SGS1 and SGS2, so Apple have achieved their objective of stopping Samsung with their copycatting.

                        Now Apple are also proving that Samsung did indeed copy with their SGS1 and SGS2, which Samsung previously flatly denied, but have now been uncovered by evidence they tried to destroy.

Apple admired Sony, so they thought of products and tried to think HOW Sony might design them. They did not copy any Sony products, Apple designed the products, only with Sony philosophy in mind. It is even stated there by GSMArena in bold font. Can't you read?

                          Samsung on the other hand, blatantly COPIED Apple. A big difference.
