This chipset should be called exynos 1000 rather than 1080.
They are making the same mistake again over and over.
They are hyping the insterest on exynos, and showing a little progress.
Without AMD this chipset is like a joke.

Exynos 990 wasn't a sucessor to Exynos 980. Exynos 980 is a mid-range SoC.

Only chipset that can... moreSnapdragon has always lagged behind Exynos, just last 2 years Exynos was had to be limited to be on par with slowdragon due to Qualcomm offering 50% off from thier Socs to Samsung. It’s fun reading all the Exynos vs Snapdragon comments.
I haven’t used a Samsung phone in years albeit I use a Galaxy Tab S5e which of course runs the SD670, I find its performance good enough for what I need my tablet for however my phone is an iPhone 11 Pro, there is a notable difference in performance especially when during intensively heavy tasks, however...
For the general person the Exynos chips should still do just fine, even the SD670 is a good chip for many average users.
