Was considering an iphone for my next phone. Never had one before. But to refuse to include a charging brick and earpods. Like, this is a trillion dollar company. This real is the highest level of greed and pure meanness. Just shocking

Welp, this proves that this move was for profits. Not discounting the existing models at all. Where are the people who said ommiting accessories will make Iphones more affordable ?

Is it the same cable as in the macbook pro? If yes its poorly engineered, breaks too easy. in a year ive broken 5 of those, and opted for a chinese one that also support 60w to 100w, funny story is that a simple rubber end to connected to the cable mesh is working much better for me. Anyway, such cable on a mobile shouldnt be an issue but, apple will always find new ways to take your $... Now to all who feels forced to buy and is complaining about the price, i really dont understand why, most people are free or live on a false sense of freedom but that id just another story. Peace.

U asked people to "stop whining!" when some capitalist, greedy company forced u to 'hand over 700$+ money just to get a piece of trash?
700$ is the 'cheapest' price in the whole world for iphone 12 mini, while outside US, the mark-up is hands-down crazy (in my country, the 'cheapest' iphone 11 pro max was 2 times the price of US! and that's the 'official' price tag from iBox, conventional offline store, obviously, would be more expensive than that!)
in short, what's the point of buying 'brand new' iphones if u would only get a cable?
It's no different from buying 2nd-hand iphones!

I rather have a 15W charger than none at all, yeah its not as fast as others but its not the slowest. Apple holds that title

What's really funny is that all this time Apple didn't give any fast charger with the iPhones, and just around the time when android makers have started to give very fast chargers with even budget phones, Apple has dropped the charger altogether. They be like "okay people may have plenty of these lying around by now, so why not stop bundling the charger and put up 'carbon emissions' as a front". So lets say they ship 10 million phones, and they save $45 on in box stuff per phone, and voila, that's 450 million in profits, considering they haven't cut the prices for excluding that stuff. That 'equivalent 450 thousand cars emissions cut per year' in the presentation event actually actually means "we're adding $450 million extra into banks every year" lol

If Apple really care about cutting down on E-Waste then they would stop using proprietary lightning ports and use USB-C like everyone else
They are just ripping off stupid people. Which fortunately for them is their entire customer base anyway 😂😂

It's Apple!
Apple should've went with USB C cables and chargers when other companies did so Years ago but that would've meant losing money since it couldn't sell its Proprietary Lightning based cables!
The company has to keep making money so no surprise since it wants people to continuously buy Apple accessories for its products.

I personally went for the Xs over the XR, mainly listening to reviewers and the screen resolution. However, the screen is really good on the XR, and people who say otherwise, are just plain haters.
At that price, you can definitely go for it.

Come on people, stop whining!. Without charger isn't the end of the world, almost all people buy another charger on all phones, because wants a faster or better charger without care if battery cook itself while fast cook-charging. I bought a iPohone SE 2020 days ago, and the charger is brand new in the box, because i use only wireless charger in my night desk, only use cable when connect it to the laptop, or with a car charger when i go job travelling. I don 't care about chargers, but i hope oems do some cheap the phones, if will not include them. Here my 5 cents :3.

And if you buy them for separate with their carton box, small guidance book, plastics, etc., this will also help the environment?
Not everybody affords to change an iPhone every year to have chargers all over their house. They should offer those accesories for free if it's your first iPhone or if you don´t have one. Like Arcade or Apple TV subscripcion.

Next year, Apple will remove the cable as well and charge an extra $10 and will say that they care for environment and blindfold people of their own profits.
