So basically not much of an upgrade except for a new depth sensor, slightly bigger battery capacity, and much faster wired charging rate. I'd still take the 8 Pro. Glad to see that OnePlus didn't make a T version of the Pro model, I see no point in doing that.

Their newfound yet handicapped ability to customize iOS is keeping their time busy.
It's like a person being denied for a decade, finally gets to eat pizza.
IOS will always have inferior customization compared to Android.

With a 5nm chipset this year, you can expect it to have a battery endurance pretty close to 8T.

Useless Macro + useless depth sensor = no buy
OnePlus always had a macro mode for the ultrawide because it had autofocus which was especially nice because UW normally don't get autofocus

OnePlus 8T will have better battery life than iPhone 12 despite 120hz screen, will be on par with S20 FE, plus this has 3 times the charging speed as the other two.
Screen is also better than IPhone 12 (stuck at 60hz) and on par with S20 FE.
Software support on OnePlus is one of the best.
Software support on iPhone is laughable as they get everything 5-10yrs late.
