The huawei phones somehow bottlenecks there..and performs way less than other flagships even had beaten by mediocre devices. But in real gaming huawei's kirin chip performs even better than snapdragon sometimes.

A14 is fastest chipset in a world, thats a fact. Garys test is definitely not better than Geekbench as it is custom made by him and few guys, Geekbench is built by best in class software engineers, think logically which benchmark has more credibility

They disable animations to keep things fair, so your claim of iPhone losing due to animations just got destroyed.
Video rendering depends upon the app. Juan bagnell from YouTube has explained in detail how pixel and OnePlus 7t can outperform iPhone in video rendering on particular cross platform video rendering apps.
Games reload at the same time on both. Only pub g which is not that well optimized for Android opens a few seconds slower.
Coming back to phonebuff speed tests, They have already been debunked.
In phonebuff speed test, 3 apps opened with that robotic arm is equivalent to a person opening 5 apps in the same time frame in real life.
This is why the phonebuff sped tests are not an accurate representation of real world speed tests which are done with your hands as smartphones like iPhone get more time to catchup whereas in other speed tests, they don't get time to catchup eventually lagging behind.
In other words, When you open individual apps one by one with a significant gap in between them, iPhone does well. The moment the system is taxed with multiple apps being opened in a short time, iPhone lags behind.
This is why phonebuff's tests get different results compared to all other tech channels doing speed tests.

Infact those 300 Euro phones can charge their batteries 3-4 times faster, have double the refresh rate & touch sampling rate, and other functionality that is absent on iOS.
This is why most people these days don't want to bother spending more than 200-300 Euros on a device.

Besides... Why stick an A14 SoC in an iPhone 12 at 5nm... And severely restrict its frame rate to 60FPS...
What exactly was the point in increasing marginally the SoC and restricting it to a mere 60FPS?
Its like having a tuned engine in a car... And attaching go kart sized and 0wheels to the car....
I am failing to see the logic here with apple???
Maybe so they can be perceived as the first commercial SoC to be in the hands of consumers at the expense of restricting Huawei?
Because... Let me be honest here... There are no gaming benefits at 60fps... And if you where to go higher... The SoC would melt... Because of apples zero cooling issues...
So it seems more like a marketing gimmick. - So once gaming the SoC sweats. Reduces down less than the 865 let alone the 865+...
Just can't get my head why they upgraded slightly the SoC... And stuck a 60hz display and prevent PUBG once again from 90FPS smooth graphical setting...
To be frank. Apple have actually gone a step backwards. Because the 12 should have been a step forwards...
iOS 14 and iPhone 12 series... A nightmare combination for the user.... A real disappointment...
That A14 deserved at least a 90hz display. Which 90hz is excellent anyway... And proper cooling solutions... So that the high scores can be sustained for more than a handful of minutes...
I've actually got a headache just thinking about the iPhone 12 disaster...

You can compare with geekbench 5, it's made for that, that's propably what Apple also used because based on todays geekbench results A14 actually is up to 50% faster, no android phone get even close to iPhone 12 score.
