Anwar, 15 Oct 2020Apple software optimization changes everything.. final thought...I'm still on iPhone XR and that thing with iOS 14 is faaaaast. That's still an old A12 Bionic. Tight software and hardware integration is certainly helping hugely. What helps Apple hugely on iPhones is use of NVMe standard for storage. It basically connects storage directly with chipset and does that at very high speeds. Common problem on most Android phones is use of crappy storage where even if you have super fast flagship chipset, it was always tripping over itself because of slow storage. iPhones never really had issue with that and that hugely helps the smooth experience we're so used on iPhones.

            And now you will introduce us to a new Realme phone..I don't like Apple and I am not a Fanboy of anything, but please be fair, you know those are nothing close to estimate the real performance.

              This low performing chipset can do realtime capture and encoding of h265 10bit 4k at 60fps in HDR10 or dolby vission. If so, snapdragon 865 can do much much better, I suppose....

                  That is the reason probably they changed the design, or more clear, return at the old design from iphone 5. They knew the A14 will not impress compare to the previous A13, so they figured people will buy the new iphones just for the redesign.
                  Imo, if you want an iphone, just go and buy some iphone 11 generation or even Xs generation. Iphone 12 is not worth it.
                  Not to mention, that for me IOS 14 is sh***y. Is the reason I sold my iphone 2 months ago. They tried to do something nice, but in the end they did something worse, to much "Androidish" like experience. If I will want an Android like experience, I will go buy an Android phone, not an iphone with widgets and app library.

                      Even Antutu says you can't compare iOS scores to android. This is from their official site

                      "* 1 AnTuTu was developed based on the unique technologies of different platforms, such like Vulkan(Android) and Metal(iOS). cross-platform products may not be directly comparable."

                      They also have own top list for android devices and own top list for iOS devices for that reason.

                          When iPhone score top on benchmark, they say Android are trash.
                          When iPhone got thrashed by Android in benchmark, then they say it's not fair to compare two different systems 🤷🏻
                          It's hard for Android to destroy this cult when these shéep 🐑 keep moving the goal post

                                  Wow... I had a feeling that the A14 is overrated once again... A former apple level 3 technician told me that the A14's SoC is the lowest improvement of performance Apple has ever done.

                                  I firmly believe and already said that the 865 and 865+ when gaming, in a gaming device will put pace the A14. Why? Well it's quite simple... The A14 will throttle down to 80% and that 20% reduction of processing power puts it well under the 865 and 865+... As the 865 and 865+ would be cruising effortlessly during a good few hours of gaming with cooling systems activated...
