(1 USD = 140 Jamaican Dollars) and we predominantly use Iphones, even if its an older model. The reality is that people just prefer Iphones. Poor or rich.

        This is really stupid comparison, because android flagships aren't 10 times more expensive than iPhones. So they have exactly same chance to sell than iPhone. Yet android flagship phones sales are down every year. Whÿ something so good can't sell? you never thought that maybe there's actually something wrong with android flagships?

All OEM have similar strategy as all of them perform market research. Apple is able to go ahead with such plans because of its loyal fan base. The competition in Android is extremely fierce and so OEM's wait before pulling something like this. For example,
                    when Apple removed the 3.5 mm jack , lot of other OEMs followed suit. But all those OEMs also introduced their own wireless buds which means they already had plans for the removal.

The only Android flagship that can compete with iPhones is the Note20 Ultra and it's a lot more expensive than any iPhone. Why would we complain about the charger? I have 20+ chargers at home from previous purchases, don't need anymore. The only people complaining about them removing the charger are people who will never buy an iPhone lol

Than was until I realised that my phone was never going to get it. In fact the update issue has improved slightly some manufacturers tell you that you will get 3 years worth. What they don’t tell you that months and months after Google has released the update you can still be waiting on your manufacture to send it out. Year after year android phones became bigger and faster but very few companies worried about how there software ran on there skins. Android software looked so bad in the early days that everyone was happy that Htc designed to employ some design, but still I stayed because I liked the freedom of an open platform and being able to turn into anything I want. I was a big Google+ fan but it didn’t reach the numbers they wanted so that stoped and again loved the design of the trips app because when I was planning a holiday it was amazing again that folded. Google mail got redesigned more times than I could count. And the look of the software was just change change. I got an XR loved it for everything but the screen so I moved to the pro and haven’t looked back consistent software regular timely updates. Some of the best looking apps it’s amazing that Google puts more effort into its google apps for iOS than for there own phones. Amazing photos excellent speakers properly calibrated screens excellent scrolling security that Google can’t match. iMessage is amazing and versatile. Airdrop, handover so it’s easy working from iPad to my phone and the fact that there are thousands of stores in my country if I have a problem I can just walk into one. I mean you can even take a mini course to make sure you get the most out of your equipment and they do sessions on music and photography. That’s why people are with them you don’t get this with Android yes there are expensive but you can always get them on contract. It’s pure stupidity to thinks that just because something is simply to use the people that are using it are simply why should you need a degree for a phone.
