      I just don't know why Apple had to reduce body of phone and place a smaller battery over last years model. I understand that the 5nm chip is smaller but at least keep battery life the same or better by keeping battery size the same. Especially if your going to offer 5G.

            The handsets you've mentioned.
            Xperia 5 II has 102H ER. Same as Iphone 11 pro max.
            Galaxy S20 FE 5g isn't even announced on CES. So how can that be a flagship of samsung?
            Xiaomi Mi 10T pro wasn't even announced as FLAGSHIP of xiaomi.
            In regards to OnePlus 8 Pro. It isn't even known in my country.

            Doesn't matter if the S20U and Note 20 ultra run HRR at 1080p+ only. Were talking about HRR experiences.

            One thing's for sure. By next year. When apple releases the iphone 13 with 5G and 120hz display. Another never-ending yada yada will happened again.

              Across the years, I have always found iOS users begging for something or the other.
              Funny part is that they have to wait for an entire year to get it while Android manufacturers like Samsung, Xiaomi and others giving users whatever their customers want within months.

                As someone hoping to get the 12 Pro Max I hope the battery life is at least equivalent to the 11 Pro Max.

I work at my office (mobile/network operator) and work there for 21 years and see the old guard not using iphones and the newbies starting sometime have an iphone but always searching for chargers , empty devices and not able to pay wireless for years. They al move away from Apple seeing users doing everything with better devices and cheaper.

                  Worst iphone we ever tested was the iphone 4 and 5 with dropout, connectection lost and connection switch lost in transaction where the device hangs on 4G or something? After that it looks better but the price also :)

                  At the moment I think only one manager and two girls using an iphone and the rest of the 160 people on the two floors using other devices. Oneplus is fav especially for the long support the last two years, Samsung ofcourse (mostly the budget devices)

                  Also selling these devices. A few years ago we had pre-order 4-5 weeks in advantage and last year 3 weeks and this year 1 week. The reason almost nobody asked for these devices and this year it looks like the machine stands still. I remember with the iphone 8 we get a lot of return ,where people saying it looks like the devices before with the same software :) Duh.

                  So I think the high prices is the reason here but in the USA they sell them very well. So different then here (EU) . Also there are so good device like the allrounder oneplus 8 pro. Huawei P40 pro is also an amazing device love the device and camera but sadly you can not pay wireless with it here in the EU.

                  the iphone 11 started here around 799 euro but the iphone 12 is more then 900 euro . The iphone 11 is around 650 euro so you get for 250 euro more oled screen and 5G that also drops your battery 30% down comparing with the iphone 11 . I say forget 5G and the oled screen and go for the iphone 11. Almost same camera setup but iphone 12 had slightly brighter pictures in the dark and yes it has dolby vision.

                  So you really need an Iphone go for 11 and in 2022 for the iphone 14

                    The whole specs war was instigated by Android not iOS.

                    Apple knew that marketing the RAM and battery capacity will only induce a mindset of more is better. Clearly this is what happened to all FANDROID users.

                    Android OEMS have no choice but to compete on specs.

                            Wonder why you selectively ignored them? Don't say resolution, since the S20U and Note 20 ultra run HRR at 1080p+ only.

                            All these phones provide better screen experience over ancient 60hz of iPhone while having 5g and better endurance rating.

Galaxy S20 ultra 5G with 87 hours of endurance rating. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 5G with 81 hours. While the iphone 11 pro max has an endurance rating of 102 hours? Let's not forget that Apple is also selling Smart Battery Case. Which doubles the battery rate of their flagship models.
