So new tec(s) but lower battery... no matter how great the phone is optimized, still no change to battery life.

I don't get why apple is doing this. If the phone size is getting bigger, then it should have more rooms for a bigger battery.

Personally as someone who has owned both I would choose Android every time as I prefer the option to customise my phone and not be locked down as Apple owners are. Also Apple use Samsung Oled screens which are the best on the market but use more battery life, this in conjunction with a smaller battery in a thinner, lighter compartment begs the question will surely lead to overheating ? Pros and cons to both systems but I for one don't like paying over the odds for something that I can get the equivalent of or better than with an Android phone

Or something. iPhone is not the usual Android where inefficient resources management has to be compensated with massive amounts of RAM and huge batteries. Sure more battery is always useful, but it seems Apple is just trying to hit a certain balance between autonomy and thickness/weight. And they can pull it off with tight integration of software and hardware. Android phones on the other hand, can you imagine a big flagship phone with just 3600mAh battery that would still operate for as long as iPhones do? I don't know, I have doubts.

Maybe this battery capacity is enough for them because it has less features than android so it doesn't drain that fast but still with its price tag, it should have more.
Android phones needs bigger battery since it can do more than iPhones.
If only most of the people on this world know how to turn off those extra features or know how to use their android phones or iphones then there would be way less complain about battery draining fast.
