Lidar is insignificant . 5g is insignificant. 120 medga pixel camera 7000 mah battery and all blotched up stuff running on malware infested android gadgets are far inferior to iphone. MagSafe, LIDAR, etc.
They were going crazy in the presentation about 5g and then later we find out how that 5g is actually in the form of an external modem(which consumes more power), with Apple having no plans of changing that till 2023. No dual SIM 5g either.

JDK, 25 Oct 2020Oh I forgot!
Do you need to take spelling courses? Becau... moreIphones will not release anything new in the future they will just copy the trend set by the better phones. Apple is not doing anything NEW same old same old just diffrent marketing names. 5g is not as advertised on all the iphones THEY release outside USA. They CHOUSE to secrifies the battery of the phone to reduce cost and get more money from buyers. The charging brick and headphones are also additional money they will get just because apple fanboys are not very bright. MagSafe is the the most gimmicky thing EVER made by their company. Basicly showing that their users don't know how to charge their phones. Not to mention it works awful with older iphones only charging at max of 1 - 3 W for the older iphones. The 12 is 15W but wait there is a catch.
If you had an older iphone you have the standard 5W charging brick.
If you got 11pro of 11pro max you have 15W.
So if you are upgrading from last year which you are not because you keep you phone for 5-6 years you will be able to use the MagSafe without buying thr charger.
But since you are not upgrading maybe lease the Magsafe and charger since you know 5 years of updates and no inovation is something to be proud of.
Oh and you should defenetly go and check out the speed test between Android phones and 12 pro.
P.S.
I didn't expect such a gap in performance between 12 and 12 pro it looks like apple is force throttling the 12 to performe poorly just so the 12 pro looks like it is worth it. Apple fanboys are getting what they pay for..
LOW QUALITY products with 12 mounts warrenty made in BRAZIL and INDIA because saving money is key for big profit and NOT!!! a good phone.
And the LiDar it's nit a gimmick it just doesn't work with phones. Low performance compared to last year and the year before that.

Do you need to take spelling courses? Because I ain't know any phone called "12 pro mex".
By your logic 2815 and 4000 MaH battery are incomparable just like 5nm and 7nm are uncomparable.
Just like iPhones will release phones with bigger batteries in the future, android will release 5nm in the future. Same stuff.

Looks like somebody didn't bother to read my comment.
You yourself commented on the "iPhone 12 and 12 pro got 20% shorter battery life on 5G".
If you want evidence, then go visit the article you YOURSELF went to trash apple.
And, I can easily infer that since tom's guide tested both 60hz and 120hz on the samsung galaxy s20, both modes had to be the same resolution. And we all know that the s20 can either run Full HD+ on 120hz or Quad HD+ on 60hz. If he was testing it at max resolution on 60hz, he would have said "60hz QHD and 120hz FHD" as the options. Otherwise, the tests would have been misleading.
iPhones can only run at their max resolution.
And we're asking who has the low IQ here.
P.S: If you want to stop wasting your "valuable" time, stop bashing apple all the time.

s20 5G ON 60... moreS20 has higher PPI than 12 pro mex. Higher PPI means smaller individual pixel size. Smaller pixel means the individual pixel is dimmer and it requires higher voltage to meet certain level of brightness.
And you're comparing a phone with 5nm vs 7nm?
120Hz 563 ppi vs 60Hz 450ppi?
Come on, you can do better than this BS.

s20 5G ON 60hz and 5G had a battery score of 9:31
iPhone 12 pro on 5G had a battery score of 9:06
So basically s20 5G with 4000 MaH battery had a 4.5% improvement over iPhone 12 pro with "measly" 2815 MaH battery. In other words, barely noticeable.
s20 5G ON 120hz had a score of 8:04.
Plus, take a look at the battery capacity increase from iPhone 12 pro to 12 pro max. a 31% increase.
Increase of battery from s20 to s20+ is only 12.5%.
IF iPhone is far more efficient with the battery it has, plus it has a bigger increase from 12 pro to 12 pro max, the 12 pro max's battery life should be 11+ hours, which means it beats the competition in 60hz and 5G. With a "measly" 3687 MaH battery.
Meanwhile, competition is gonna take at least 4 months to release a 5nm chipset.
All your lies have been disproven.

The same variant that Samsung just CONVENIENTLY sends to the USA and their home market so they can garner favourable reviews meanwhile charging Europe and co the same absorbent prices if not higher than others? 😂😂
Samsung is a clown company. Fact. The only phone that even remotely looked interesting was the S20 FE. The S20 can't even run in high resolution with a high refresh rate. It needs to be scaled back because the battery life would be so bad so calling Apple out is mediocre at best even if it is a feature consumers want.

Strawhat, 22 Oct 2020Thinner body with smaller battery, lol what is the point of... moreThere are new components like the 5G external modem which Apple has to cater for inside the phones but yes. I still agree with the criticism. Apple could have made these devices at least half a millimetre thicker and they would still be thinner than the last generation and they would have somewhat comparable battery capacity which makes a big difference on the small scales, Apple's iPhone works on. Perhaps weight was becoming an issue. The 11 Pro Max is seriously heavy now for a smartphone. I mean how smart is it if it needs to be that big, cumbersome and heavy?

The teardown of the phone give an insight of the components. It shows there is no space not used up, and components reduced in size.
