I really hope that nothing of these new sets is made in China. Otherwise it would be pretty pointless if the phones are made in China but simply labelled as "Indian" by Micromax.

SShreyas, 23 Oct 2020Nah. Please stop this untra-nationalism. For God's s... moreI am not saying that, lot of BJP RSS Nationalists are claiming indians are the best and are giving pichai and Nadella as examples.

Meanwhile there is none of that in india, only Ambani is indian superstar.(not technological but business side)

The only idea these days our businessmen and entrepreneurs are coming up-MANUFACTURE TRASH AND STICK A TRICOLOR ON THE BACK. I hope it won't succeed.

They literally had WORST after-sales service (which subsequently used to take THREE months to replace trash). I (unfortunately) purchased its tab (P666) which didn't even booted up. I reached customer care center and it took them 3 months.
And the replacement. It solved my problem- it did showed the "Mi" logo and "powered by Android" screen, but stuck on a boot loop. I, again handed it to them instantly and after another half a month, they replaced it with another piece of TRASH which kept restarting every two minutes.

The best part? They won't tell if your service request has been completed or not. You have to keep visiting them until your problem solves (which is never supposed to).
