That and the reason they know how to control people minds, in such a way that even if you make a bad purchase, in the back of your mind, you think is the best purchase you had ever made.
Remember when Apple removed the headphone jack and then immediately they released their wireless headphones? A move like that requires time and preparation.
They said they removed the headphone jack to make more space for other components, but in reality they did it to sell their wireless headphones. And people buy them like candies. Even though wireless headphone were around long before Airpods (I myself had wireless headphone 3 years before the Airpods appeared). Nobody gave a sh*t about wireless headphones back then. They even laugh at me for having a pair of wireless headphones.
The same thing now with the removing of charger in the box. They said they did it for "environmental" purposes. But immediately they release their wireless charger. I mean, that separate charger box and device isn't it bad for the environment? Just asking.
So everything Apple does is for profit, nothing for their customers or good of the World. They paint everything nice and they say it so well, that people actually believe in it.
Not to say that other companies are completely innocent (see Samsung, Huawei or other Chinese phone companies), but certainly Apple is the less innocent of them all.

Which ever iPhone 12 model I get I'm satisfied they're all great besides I'm majorly after the performances of a device

Well not me, I'd pick either the 12 mini or the 12 Pro Max. The 12 and 12 Pro doesn't excite me well enough. The only reason you want the 12 is because you want a larger screen than the 12 mini and the 12 Pro camera is not any different than last year's 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.

LG Superfan, 25 Oct 2020It will be really hard to type on the Minis tiny display es... moremight be the reason why sony skipped the compact moniker after xz2 compact (i own one)... typing experience is really of no issue as i jump from phone to phone, as large as z5 premium to as small as miro... but on miro, i use the t9 keyboard, like those keypad phones... i can manage the qwerty keyboard on xz2 compact too... iphone 12 mini is a bit narrower though 64.2mm vs 65mm of my xz2 compact (for the side bezels)... still not significant, so i think i can handle iphone 12 mini as a phone when i am out an about, when i need no bag to carry with me... like i do with z1 compact and xz2 compact
surely, iphone 12 mini is meant for one handed operation, those who wants it... need a larger device though, imo... watching videos on small device is not enjoyable, at least to me... so they need to buy an ipad, even an ipad mini will do... especially when those buying them have a 6something inches phone...

Well last Q 86% of sold Android phones cost under $200 so it's easy to see why Apple marketshare isn't 67%. Apple is no option for most people who buy phone. In other hand Apple alone sold over 50% of all over $400 phones last Q. That's also why Apple makes most profits. Selling high-end phones is lot more profitable than selling $200 phones.

I'm surprised people would take the 12 (even the mini) over the 12 Pro. The 12 Pro is literally a flagship compact (since it has all 3 cameras and higher resolution).
Apple did decent with this set (and this is coming from a never-iOS person such as myself) but that battery life is not going to do well on ANY of those models. I'm certain battery cases are popping up already.

There's a lot of people that still prefer the iPhone but for some other reason they don't buy it and stick to Android. That's why Apple's world market share isn't 67%, it's 13%. Still, they make the most profit, because they are overpriced and rip us of hahaha
Even now, they stop putting the charger and ear pods in the box so they can rip us an extra 50 hahahaha
But i agree that iPhone mini is a good move. Phones are like tablets now and if you want a small one, you have to settle for a budget. People want compact flagships....

I think 12 Pro 128GB would become the best seller or at least runner up behind overall 12 sales. Also I feel it's more value for money compared to 12 64GB.
Last year, 11 Pro & 11 Had $300 price difference. However both packed same memory and same RAM capacity. Main difference was the screen & Telephoto camera. Also I'd say smaller screen was a drawback for 11 Pro and resulted in low sales. (The mini lovers would disagree, but come on, over 70% of the users prefer larger screen)
This year, the difference is only $200. However 12 Pro has 100% more storage (even more if I only compare the free space) and 50% more RAM. In addition, can enjoy the old school telephoto and brand new LIADR sensor (May be in future it can bring some useful features. If so, may be the 12 users would repent).

Yesterday's phablet is today's regular size phone. Good to see the iPhone 12 mini which will slip in any pocket without feeling the thing is gonna bend and will be comfortable to use with one hand by most people.

Anonymous, 25 Oct 2020Apple products are always selling well describe the fact th... moreThere were no innovation with the iPhone since the iPhone 8 family and beyond, My last iPhone might be the iPhone X, previously own an iPhone 6s plus, when the latter finally becomes available at its time, it was the last iPhone that I was excited to get, after that there's no more excitement getting an iPhone untill I got the X only for just a gift, not really interested about it and its successors anymore. I hope Apple makes such innovative as before and not that so called "innovation" as today.
