Pixel 5 gets mediocre 120 points in DxOMark test

It's using very old hardware and Google's decision not to include a third camera limits it even further.

Why 120 points is mediocre? It's more than Pixel 4 which cost more than the 5 does, and it's only 1 point behind Note 20 Ultra a phone that's hundreds of dollars more. Seems a harsh and unfair headline.

Still better than the iPhone 12

They don't even test the phone's Night Mode! You can't trust a testing methodology if they purposely ignore a hint that suggests you to turn into Night Mode.
And then they test taking photos with Flash, which any user that cares for the right exposure, dynamic range and white balance on a photo, simply turns it off on day 1 of having the phone.

I can't understand how moronic it must be to take hundreds of photos while consciously skip testing one of the cameras strong point.

Definitely worthless in 2020 Google products are the biggest joke on the Android platform.
