Google Pixel 5's SD765G chipset is a serious underperformer

The Pixel is a garbage phone. I wouldn't touch it with a surgical glove or even a ten foot pole.

There's better alternatives to pixel 5. Stock clean android and good camera are appreciated but are not everything in a smartphone. They should bring down the price, it's overpriced for a midrange SoC that's downclocked or something...

This isnt even mid range anymore . Its gpu is slower than snapdragon 710. For the price i can buy ROG phone 3 . The build arent even premium. Remember it has redmi note 3 like back fingerprint that are meant for budget phone.

Still stock Android will perform well

I doubt most Pixel 5 users will notice the nerfed GPU performance but that is SERIOUSLY bad. They cut almost half of it, making it on par with Adreno 616 in Snapdragon 710. Battery life and temperature still remains consistent with other devices (source: Youtube) so there's no reason to do it on a midrange chipset when they hardly throttle unlike flagship chipsets. Or maybe it only performs as such in benchmarks? If not, paying $700 for this...meh.

Google ripping off it's weird fanboys. Nothing new here. Enjoy your crap
