Also they are bigger in capacity, so by the time Android reaches 800 charge cycles aka 90% degradation, Apple is at 1600 charge cycles reducing to 60%
Add battery gate and other shameful practices, you arrive to 50%.

Pretty sure it's down to 80% as Apple uses regular batteries which degrade to around 90% after 400-500 charge cycles unlike special Android batteries which degrade to 90% only after 800 charge cycles.

I know physics behind batteries and I know it's not exactly 100% anymore. But degradation is so low it's literally insignificant. And the battery life between charges proves that. But of course, you the fAndroid expert who somehow knows more about MY iPhone while not using one at all. Who's the f**king joker now? You talking BS out of your literal arse or me actually talking about actual experience with the device.

Why did they make the 12 mini so 'bad'? I know a lot of people who were looking forward to it, including me (I was even thinking about giving up the jack to get a normal sized phone). But now they decided the mini-version doesn't deserve fast charging, besides the already small battery. The XR and the 11-series have a normal battery life, the rest is just meh to really bad. Everywhere around me I see people looking for chargers because their iPhone is almost dead, while my phone with more SOT is still at 40% for example 😅. The OS is so good, but they ruined it with the high prices (for €800 you arent even avle to charge your phone or listen to music on your phone) and poor battery life

Battery degradation and battery health aren't the same thing.
Battery degradation is linked to capacity left.
So a Xiaomi phone retaining 90% of a 4000mah battery after 800 charge cycles means, the usable battery capacity drops to 3600mah after 800 charge cycles.
No phone can maintain 100% capacity after using a phone for 2 years.
Battery degradation cannot be measured using an inbuilt app or third party app.
degradation can only be measured in a lab with special tools.
This is why I said those are fake apps. The results are not reliable irrespective of whether it is on iOS or Android.
Do you really think that after 2 years battery degradation is at 0% meaning battery capacity stays at 100% after so many charge cycles? Forget the OS, battery degrades with time and more charge cycles. No phone can maintain 100% after 2 years even if you use the phone sparingly.
The distance that Apple lovers will go to defend their mediocre product is astonishing.
People like you continue to believe that iPhone has best camera, best battery, best smoothness even though real world results point to something else.

I know Android folks using phone since 5 years, the inbuilt app still shows good battery health even though SOT has dropped to half of its original in both these cases.

I use to have the 11 Pro smart battery case and used it 24/7. I would never get to use the iPhones battery. I only used the phones battery when I traveled to Paris and stayed up for 48 hours. I am wondering if the battery case killed my iPhones Battery Health. I bought apple care so I will break my phone twice a year each time the battery degrades.
