Weekly poll results: fans give OnePlus Nord N10 5G and N100 the cold shoulder

08 November 2020
These two failed to get the hype train rolling, unlike the company's flagships. The N100 did especially poorly, the N10 has a glimmer of hope.

Like in car industry, some fckr came to some idea and rest of them just copy paste it.. And you as a buyer dont have any other options..
I think bunch of us use and wanna smaller phones, but we are silent majority who dont change phones often.. I really feel like manufactures are turned to please younger generation who do everything on their cellphone, especially gaming, like wtf with ps/xbox/(pc options you get high on cellphone gaming???. I really don't understand. ..I really got too old.
Yes but when the throw out compact phone its flagship..
WHY tho? make one mid ranger under 155mm.. why is always flagship? That I dont understand. It's like all car manufactures stop seling "city sized cars, and when they do it's pricier that their top tier car.
you say people wanna big phones. I didn't see any survey on that.. And do we have any choice? its 160+mm 300$ phone or -156mm 600$ phone...
It's really tuff to decide what will you buy.. I use my phone for SOC. Networks, to watch some yt sometimes (but I watch sprot shows, so its more about audio that picture) and that is that..
I had mi a3 and dumb ass sold it, now I'm using wife's note 7 (xiaomi) which i hate..
I was planning to buy pixel 4a 5g , but 500€ for that hardware is laughable.
After 6y of been loyal to xiaomi my next phone is going to be nova 5t .

    Don’t give us mediocre chipset

Oneplus should stay in their usual way, flagship chip with low budget price, so a little bit higher price than midrange phone

Sadly, they don’t do that anymore since oneplus 7 series, especially after 7pro and other oneplus phone after that

I’m sure their sales hurted so badly. They won’t reveal the truth. Just the fake campaign about all sold out in few seconds and another shit marketing bullshit crap they talking

If not, why they make midrange phone? why don’t they realize this stupid trick marketing won’t work, get a mirror in your company meeting, see the number, compare with other brand sales number, u guys will realize u just tiny shit in the smartphone world

I had the ultra 5 days, then I sold it again... Bafd battery time to and for me it was to small and not even feel that premium.

I just think i keep my M20X for 1 year more, soon it will get the last big update.

Ya it was the first time ever with such a big phone with top specs.
Hopefully there will come some and I think, even it's not a top specs/chip phone, it can be a great catch anyway.
Midrangers today (many) have some good specs to.
So i still have the hope.
In 2018 i had the Huawei Note 10 and this was a great phone to, even it was a midranger. 👍🏻

One plus has lost it's confidence and failed to deliver the quality they promised. Simple. Come back when you know what you doing and doing it right.

L.O.R.D, 08 Nov 2020Most android phones have become so boring since lately that... moreThere's one thing that you will be missing though. While you get upgraded internals every year, newer features take time to come to iPhones. Lets take the notch for example, its been 3 yrs and it still the same even with 12 series. Whereas Android manufacturers have left notch way behind in favor of punchole displays.

Hello Life, 09 Nov 2020With this kind of phones. Oneplus is spoiling their image. ... moreI agree. I have 0 idea why did they even launch the Nord N10 and N100 when they alr have the original Nord, which is pretty decent. Nord N10 is still an OK phone, but the Nord N100 is jus shit. 720p LCD and SD460 for €200. Wtf was OnePlus thinking.

I don't think less than 4000 people matters to One+ much, so let's drop the "fans" and change it to something else.

I'll wait a few more months and then I'll probably go a note 20 ultra. I don't believe we've going to have any device with screen size over 7 inches anytime soon..

With this kind of phones. Oneplus is spoiling their image. It makes the brand value go down not up.

Never settle for such basic phones

I think it is inevitable for Oneplus to take this path. They were founded on the premise of "flagship killer - affordable price - unusual marketing platform" all of which translate to narrow margin of profit). It was good way for publicity and a solid stepping stone, but growth will be limited and would take a snail pace. As public company grew larger, the shareholder grew impatient, and the management forced to switch strategy to a more mainstream playbook. This will be seen as betrayal by long time fans, and some company founder.

I was waiting for the S6 mini but it never came out :(. The problem was that they were budget phones. I think a midranger would sell pretty well, as I know a lot.of people that want a small phone with good specs, but they don't want to spend a fortune. People here are going to countries around us to get the Pixel 3a or 4a because of the size. But we don't really have a choice: it is either a big phone or a giant phone.

And small phones are perfect in daily use. I don't recommend watching series.on it, but WhatsApp , taking pictures, browsing, watching youtube etc shouldn't be a.problem, plus you don't have to get a bag to carry your phone or have to hold your phone in your hand the whole time (pockets are so.small if you are not a.man)
