It's just amazing how a product comparison result bring fire to this site.
Be happy with your purchase and don't stick your own fave product on others noses because you think that it's superior. To each his own.
Others don't give a rat's arse while others return with a different banter. It's like watching a tennis match. Man my neck hurts from following the ball. Lol

to compare a product to the performance of a market leader is not really a copyright infringement. it's like watching your next opponent videotapes in preparation for a game. i'm no lawyer but i cannot see any issue on this.

Look at the other Android OEM icons and colors. They all look very distinct from the iphone. Why does Samsung's look similar? The icons are just part of the bigger picture though. The jury is going to take everything into consideration. Don't worry though, they're not as biased as the fanboys on this site.

Guys, I've got a solution for that outgoing patent war. As we all know Apple has all the money in the world, so maybe they could come with an offer Samsung wouldn't be able to resist and buy them off. Everyone will be happy, Apple cuz they got rid of competition, korean boys cuz they got bloody rich and us, customers cuz we got iPhones with 4.8 screens, quad cores and bluetooth file sharing. Job done, problem solved, I'm genius. Now I have to go and patent this solution, before someone else copy or steal it from me..

Apple is like a company which say make your new standard for even the (pause and next ) song icon .....
Why because they themselves have used and thinks they invent it ...
Samsung should cancel its contract for providing all the hardware components to Apple ...than see where Apple stands

What you fanboi's seem to forget is Crapple being a newcomer to the phone scene obviously looked at all the phones out there and copied bits here and there and improved things here and there, just like every other phone manufacturer, its called progress and it happens in probably all companies.

Okay, So What! every company has competition. and Samsung here actually is trying to improve their products as you can see they are comparing other challenging products to make even a better one. Not all of the features are 100% ported to their UI but only the ones that actually make more sense and what is more customer oriented. Also where did you guys get these evidence and why are all addressed against Samsung? And why is it starting to appear as of this month. Do you guys actually see any resemblance in Galaxy S3? or we should wait until the iPhone5 comes out, where you will start posting that Samsung imitated apple? Also before all of this patent wars. I Remember that i had a blackberry where it's main feature was Local searching(OS6). I cannot deny that the Galaxy S has some resemblance is a kind of ways to the iPhone, but as i see it now, Samsung is moving on by offering much better products now and it started to get ahead of competition.
What's frustrating is that Apple also imitates some features but always get off with it. Such as Local Searching, Drop-Down Notification and the list goes on.
Now I Actually Love Apple products, They master them by providing perfect, and very well thought products but one thing i hate about them is how they treat their competition.

for those iFans, when u guys think this case is good, think again! if Apple were to be let them have their own way and all these witch-hunts be allowed, then u'll have 'a' company suing 'b' cuz they looks similar to theirs, then if a judge rules that McD owns the right to making a roundish burger, then u'll have to eat a squarish burger from BK, Coca-Cola wins and u'll get a non-black Pepsi, Ford wins and u'll need to drive a 3/5 wheeled BMW, Ferrari wins and no other cars can b painted red! stupid?!?! this is what's happening.... even more ridiculous is that this American courts r allowing this to happen bcuz they wanna protect Apple cuz they r Americans and Sammy r Koreans. that to me is not aligned to WTO's 'free' concept huh? and worse, they r not actually talking about stealing technology here but looks.... sad!

I think apple afraid of SAMSUNG.. coz SAMMY selling rates are increasing... apple was controlling US markets and now SAMMY is their monster competentin US market ...that's why they r suiting SAMMY in US market only. apple u should look at Chinese market if u r really haunting the one who is copying ur tech......
they r really afraid that SAMMY will take the lead in US ....
