JDK, 19 Nov 2020If money is no bar, he mentioned several times that iPhone ... moreS20 5G is an amazing phone. I got a US version of it in Europe. It has Snapdragon, 12GB of Ram, 120hz display, SD card (with just 20 Euro I got a 256GB Samsung SD card memory extension), perfect size to hold, very good all around camera. I got it for 700Euro at launch and still love it. Now I will receive an iphone 12 Pro Max 256GB that I got with a contract for 60Euro monthly, I am curious if I will like it better. Anyway, I am still keeping my Samsung.

    You haven't used the phone.

Ancient hardware? Yeah, 100000000W fast charging that destroys the battery.
Face ID that's far more secure than most under display variants.
When huawei implements the same technology, you praise it.
"Ugly gas burner design on the back"
    That's been for 1 year.
How is the s21 ultra's back design any more futuristic than that, is beyond me. So keep out your biased ideas.

Tell me how xperia 5 II is better besides a 120hz display and extra telephoto.

Samsung galaxy s20 with exynos is in most countries. In the U.S, apple destroys it in sales. So snapdragon variant might as well not exist.

Don't reply to this post: I don't want any of your biased CR*P

Not sure why you are bringing in Exynos version for no reason.

IPhone lacks a lot of things to be called 2020 best phone worthy.
Not choosing ancient hardware with garbage battery life as best phone in any category.

You just pissed since iPhone doesn't excel in any category this year.
Besides this is my list. You put your favorites in your list.

You are so scared of putting down an edited list consisting of your choice since you know you'll be exposed as an Apple brand boy.

In india it is more expensive, in europe it's the same price(and same value because the note has exynos) and in the U.S it's $200 cheaper.
Everybody knows he won't choose the exynos version for any award at all.
Did you ignore that? Of course you did with your fanboi mind. Next.

"Will be a oneplus 8 pro"

Why don't you be an echo chamber of mrwhosetheboss and call the oneplus 8T the best flagship of the year?
Nobody trusts you on any issue at all, so you might as well. Anonymous because you are too afraid to be exposed?

This site itself just explained that there is no real competitor to the iPhone 12 mini's price range and size.
"If you are after a compact flagship, your choices are quite limited. And Apple's bid for this niche is long overdue."
        https://www.gsmarena.com/apple_iphone_12_mini-review-2197p6.php

The 2 alternatives they listed were apple devices!
Meanwhile exynos chipset of samsung galaxy s20 makes it barely worth it.
So the sony xperia 5 II is basically the only competitor. And what do you get? $250 more for just a 120hz display and a extra camera.

Mid tier flagship will be OnePlus 8 pro since it costs only a few dollars more and has a much much better camera than OnePlus 8T with a 2 year old sensor.
IPhone lacks a lot of things to be called 2020 best phone worthy.

This site itself has declared that S20 is the best compact flagship this year.
Sony is also another all round compact flagship.
Telephoto is not worth it for you since your iDevice lacks it.
Don't care about your mini garbage with terrible battery life.

Mid tier best flagship should have been oneplus 8T(since I know you will never ever choose an iPhone) since it is basically the oneplus 8 pro but cheaper.

Compact smartphone of the year is s20? 12 mini. xperia 5 II costs $949, s20 costs $999, iPhone 12 mini costs $699. And for an extra $250/$300 you get a 120hz display and extra telephoto lens. Both of those tele lenses aren't worth it because the xperia's is 8MP and the s20 only has like 1.5 times optical zoom.
Is that a good deal? Yeah it is. In your DroidBoi eyes.

You'd expect the maker of the Android itself to do better. Instead they are no better than the rest, they just have a slight upper hand for being first party for updates. But they still have same garbage short lived software support at 3 years. And clueless Android users go all out in full fury against it when us iPhone users say it would be nice if Androids also had same 5 years support as standard. Only people who do such a thing are fanboys, who refuse to acknowledge there is a problem with something. And then they have the audacity to call me Apple fanboy. I never even said Apple is perfect. Not even close. They just do a lot of things that I care about right and very little wrong. And even if they do certain things wrong or poorly, there is just no way one can say their software support is bad. It's far from it. It's a showcase how Android should be. Yet Android fanboys always somehow see that as a threat. Dudes, I literally want to make your experience on Android even better and you're straight up against it. I just can't even...

would be extremely happy if any of them can just match their phone's thickness to the ugly camera hump so that phones can lie flat on table (finally again) and at the same time give us bigger battery capacity

It's the process of even getting to that point. It's just such unbelievable nonsense on ALL Android phones I just can't understand how people are thick enough to defend the practice of ENTIRE industry. And Google isn't leading a great example of only providing 3 major updates for their very own phones and then they are done. If Pixel phones had 5 years worth of updates, I'd say fine, it's just everyone else that's lazy and cheap, but it's Google in it as well. It's them that should lead the way and give incentive and maybe others would follow. Instead, no one can even be bothered to offer that much if even Google doesn't. Hell, despite hating Google with all my heart, that just might convince me to go with a Pixel despite everything. Just the same I went with Apple literally because of this (among few other things). Apple is really the only one that offers 5 years based on their track record, not their promises. And people can mock them all they want or call their OS or updates whatever, the matter of fact is, only they offer 5 years of updates and that's a fact, not an arbitrary promise like with so many Android phone makers who promise all the things for updates and then mostly never deliver it with some lame excuses. Been there with HTC, been there with Samsung, been there with Huawei and been there with Xiaomi. It's only now with Apple that I'm sticking with a device (older one at that, the iPhone XR) and not feeling I'm getting extorted for another 800€ just to get latest OS updates. I like everything about the hardware and don't feel the pressure to upgrade. And neither I feel the pressure to switch because I'm also getting the software. Anyone wants to guess what the next device will be when there will be time to replace the phone? As things are now, I'm fairly certain it'll be another iPhone. Unless Android makers step up their game. Whatever Android vendor does that, I just might go there. And if they stick with the model, guess which vendor I'll stick with then? It'll be THAT vendor. I can't believe how they haven't got that yet. Just look at iPhone upgrade paths and Android phone upgrade paths. With iPhones, people stick with iPhones. All profit goes to Apple, every time. On Android side, people are constantly jumping between vendors. If only there was a way they'd attract users to stick around somehow... I wonder what that would be...

Your endless praising of all over the place fragmented Android with garbage updating schemes and zero consistency is just ruining the OS and no, Android is not more polished or better. Parts of it like the whole updating and maintenance is such an absolute trainwreck and it'll never come anywhere close to how iOS works simply because there is just no control over it. Every vendor using it is doing their own weird thing, everyone is running around poking at it like headless chicken where iOS is maintained by Apple only. It has consistently reliable updating experience with predictably long support phase, minimal fragmentation. Android fanboys are so loud because they haven't ever even experienced how brilliantly it all works, coz they would, they'd demand that from vendors that use Android on their phones. Instead, they gotta go defending Android for absolutely no reason, like they'll get some brownie points from Google or Samsung or something for doing it... You people are absolutely hilarious if not just straight up delusional.

Are you expert in metallurgy all of a sudden? Just because aluminium comes in 7000 grade, it doesn't mean you won't be able to bend it. It's still aluminium. It is just slightly tougher, harder to scratch and dent, but will still be relatively soft on scale of all the alloys. In all honesty, I can't think of any tablet that's 10" or more in size and survive any kind of bending. Even if frame is not snapping, the display will or something inside. They are just too large and provide too much leverage by itself. I'd only expect that from a hybrid device, something like ASUS Transformer or HP X2 which latch into keyboard "dock" and are specially reinforced because of that. iPad doesn't have any of that. Most tablets don't have that at all.
