Flagship tablet... moreMy brother jumped multiple times on my Samsung Galaxy tab S5e, I also layed down on it a lot, and it is still flat (don't leave your tablet on the couch or on your bed). It is also only 5.5 mm thin, 71 grams lighter and also has a aluminium frame j(ust like the ipad pro). Build quality is way better and it costs 1/3 of the price. It is just Apple who fails to make an iPad pro with good build quality 😅. Their OS is better though, but build quality is also nice, especially when you are clumsy and kids use your tablet

Just gifted my father a Samsung Galaxy tab S7 plus to replace his broken iPad pro.
First thing he checked is whether it was sturdy enough and could handle pressure when trying to bend it. Passed with flying colors.
Samsung has given premium quality build in their premium tablet unlike Apple with their top of the line iPad pro which snaps is half with little pressure.

In short , I would love to request Apple company to come up with a better premium quality iPad... Which doesn't bend so easily untill someone tries it with great force.

Were one of the first to use higher grade aluminium (grade 7000 instead of 6000) and were one of the first to use stainless steel for smartphones and titanium and ceramic for smartwatches. Pick one.

Some tablets are like flexing, and some bend to no return.that is the difference.

You need to switch to titanium alloys then, which has basically weight of aluminium, but roughly the strenght of stainless steel. Lets just say that would make things much more expensive...

I don't know what you guys do with your tablets but I've been using a pro 10.5 heavily for 2 years without a case and it's still fine.

The build quality goes without saying :D if it bends AGAIN, I am skipping this gen. .... again. Haven't touched newer iPads Pro since 2018 due to build quality ... well and that headphone jack is still leaves sour tastes since I record with my iPad Pro and jack is just convenient for quality check when I don't have my sound card plugged in anymore.

Instead of focusing on the screen which is already good, they should focus on improving build quality of the iPad pro.
Premium quality tablet shouldn't be bending so easily.
