While the A12Z chipset in the iPad uses older cores, it is - or rather, was - Apple's fastest chipset, faster than even the A14 in the iPhone 12.

That happened probably last year if I can recall correctly. Besides Windows 10 is an ancient OS and has not been significantly renewed.

    Not sure about Lenovo but Acer makes decent laptops. Their build quality is OK. But Dell and HP are still the benchmarks of Windows laptops. The HP Spectre & Envy and Dell XPS (or Latitude series) are great laptops with good build quality. Unfortunately most are using intel CPU (HP Envy has a variant running on AMD Rzyen CPU)

        As I mentioned, iPhone 11 Pro Max was a mess in that test. But iPhone 12 aced it.

        Also iPhone 12 scored way higher than competitors in 3DMark despite throttled.

        If games have poor fps, iPhone 11 did not have these issues.

        iPhone is a premium segment, they don't have $100 phones Indians use then bash iPhones without correct evidence. Removing charger to save environment is a straight Apple hoax. Throttling is not.

              Come to the real world and see real world performance which is dependent on lot of other things, not just CPU.

              It isn't just Genshin Impact, lot of other heavy games like Shadowgun Legends, The Elderscrolls Blades are lagging and can't handle thermal throttling.
              Afcourse it won't heat up of you are playing Subway Surfers.

              We trust honest unbiased reviewers over MHhhhong trrrollll guy.

                Serious thermal throttling in iPhone 12 has been debunked as a hoax, despite initially having a scheduler issue. But the phone gets very warm because it cannot dissipate the heat quickly enough.

                iPhone 11 Pro Max done with the exact test and methodology throttled to 15% performance. If other benchmarks reported bad results, it is just a compatibility issue.

                Watch the video, then read the comments section where Gary Sims responds to the comments about "Antutu", "Genshin Impact", etc.

                If Genshin Impact doesn't run smoothly in iPhone, then it's Mihoyo's problem.

                My S20 FE 5G is getting much worse framerates than what Chong Liu reports. Chong Liu videos are garbage and a hoax. 5nm nanometer supposed to deliver better gaming performance? Yes if they can support the game correctly. Moreover this game is not even optimised well on PS4 platform.

                My S20 FE 5G running on Snapdragon 865 thermal throttles quite badly in maximum 30 fps. Game Booster indicator shows fps drops from 30 to 22 constantly with temperature of 44°C. My iPhone 11 also gets very warm, but unless high brightness is used, the phone doesn't thermal throttle. All phones are set at power saving, Samsung's CPU limiter is off.

                Chong Liu's videos are a publicity stunt.

                    ROG 3 winning the speed test with Snapdragon 865 plus.
                    Snapdragon 875 gives upto 25% boost in performance compared to previous chip.
                    One can only imagine how badly 5nm based Snapdragon 875 will beat the iPhone 12 series.

                    IPhone wins video rendering in that particular app.
                    On other apps, it lags behind the Snapdragon 865 based phones.

                    GPU is ahead being a newer chip. But it is plagued with thermal throttling issues in heavy games. No 120hz display either to take advantage of that gpu power.
                    Snapdragon 875 should be able to match the A14 in gpu.

Its codes are completely closed source which means nobody else but one guy who made the app could ever tell which specific types of CPU/GPU tasks are used to measure the processor performance, and there's no way to verify the results since nobody has an access to the app itself.

                          Imagine DxOMark reviews but with all subscores, descriptions and full resolution samples hidden, and only the final score is being visible to the readers - that's how useful it really is.

                            [deleted post]And on top of that, there seem to be multiple troll accounts/anonymous IDs (note: not multiple PEOPLE) that repeatedly write comments with the same flawed arguments, using very similar, specific vocabulary sets and sentence/paragraph structures to bash Apple in every single Apple-related articles. They also follow the same comment posting pattern as well which make them even more suspicious, and it's becoming so awfully obvious at this point.

                                TB3/TB4/USB4 must use Type-C ports (because it's a part of the requirements) but that doesn't mean all USB-C ports comply with the TB standards. Also: It's not Apple that came up with the idea of TB, but Intel actually it is. How about you do some research before talking stuffs, hm?

                                      Almost every laptop comes with Windows preinstalled.
                                      Some ultra cheap ones might come with DOS.
                                      99% Come with Windows 10 preinstalled.

                                      Buying Windows keys is as cheap as 5$ via variety of other means. No need to install pirated version.
