There's been a lot of green tint issues with Samsung panels this year on multiple devices, it's not been a great year for Samsung Display.

AnonD-940827, 25 Nov 2020Samsung screen, no thank you.! The best screens on the market in 2020 are all from Samsung.
(Find X2 pro, ROG 3, Note 20 ultra, IPhone 12 pro Max, Mi 10 ultra)
Even on the iPhone 12 series, the LG display has worse chances of getting green tint than the Samsung made display.
Can you even name a company manufacturing something better than Samsung???

Come to think about it, 105Hz is the middle ground between 90Hz and 120Hz. Maybe Motorola wants to have a fast screen refresh rate but without sacrificing battery life. I dunno, that's my guess.
Another thing I noticed about the camera is that Motorola got most of the supply from OmniVision. Definitely would be interesting to see how OmniVision's camera module fairs up with Motorola's camera software processing.

This pic give off an optical illusion where it look like the display design have with flat sides and no curve (just an angle) and it could be really interesting.
Curved edge display are a true pain, but if well done, something like what the Edge+ look like in this pic, with direct 90° can be more like a main display + two displays on the side that simple aren't separated than a single display that bend away.
In such case, if the sides are were for smart features, from pressure sensitive capacitive tactile for volume, power and all that, but also a lot of macro and shortcuts, notifications and other practical features, with its own dedicated chip to handle touch rejection, and because of pressure sensitive, being effective at that.
Add programmable functions and some neat features when sliding the finger on the edge, and you get something that beat curved edge display and waterfall display (usually I refer to both together, but here I think it is better to clarify) in every imaginable ways !
It would only need to ditch the punch hole though to be really elegant.
And it wouldn't be complicated to make as you have literally one main display and two on each sides, the display doesn't need to be in a single piece unlike regular curved edges, only the glass and capacitive need to.
Why isn't it a thing already ?

First time I've heard of an overclocked display, lol. 105hz display sounds like a good compromise between 90 and 120hz.

AnonD-940827, 25 Nov 2020Samsung screen, no thank you.! I'll take a Samsung 1440p HDR10+ Amoled panel over any other screen out there unless LG gets on the same level with their P-OLED panel though when it comes to TV's, a 4K LG IPS panel or a 4K LG OLED CX are the only top shelf options on my high standard list.😎

Poor updates policy are their Achilles heel, unfortunately (for other brands) Samsung upped the game when introduced at least 3 updates for A-series phones.
