Reuters also confirms Samsung about to discontinue the Galaxy Note line

02 December 2020
The Galaxy S21 Ultra and Samsung's next foldable are said to come with S Pen support instead.

This move is expected, after all from the S7 series onwards top S and Note are quite similar except the pen. I just wish they keep the Note name for the top S series phone though

Tara Kennedy, 02 Dec 2020Oh my god - enough with your idiotic speculations and rumor... moreSorry the development of Galaxy Note 21 has started

Pen inside is great thing, but even better is jack hole. It takes so much less space and I use it everyday, unlike pen.
But at least sony get some customers share, were in red for so long...

Anonymous, 02 Dec 2020Objectively the Note & S series from Samsung have so ma... moreThey will make the Fold 3 lighter, smaller, much better screen that scratches at level 5 instead of level 2. Also the display will have an even greater ability to self heal. The hinge will be improved upon. Water res will not yet arrive, maybe in 2022 instead..

The S-pen will be implemented and the Fold 3 will keep the same battery size. Cameras will be improved too.

As always Fold 2 will drop in price. Also a Fold light version is coming.

Oh my god - enough with your idiotic speculations and rumors.

Samsung is going to discontinue the Note series 100%. It will be integrated into the Fold series from next year. The Note series is DEAD.

I'm willing to bet anyone in here 10.000 dollars on that - yes you heard right 10.000 dollars.

I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.

They want to be more and more expensive that’s why they are killing note series then the only way to have a s pen would be buying 2000 usd zfolds or 200 usd accessories thanks to apple

Objectively the Note & S series from Samsung have so many similarities that it makes sense if they're not seeing the sales. However the Fold is a completely different breed of smartphone, if Samsung is planning to replace the Note series with it then they must have some more faith in their designs and durability for the 3rd generation coming to market next year.

Come to think about it, the Galaxy Z Fold2 from the outside, when folded, looks exactly the same as a Galaxy Note20 Ultra. So I wouldn't be surprised to see the Note series axed in favour of the Z Fold series. But the Z Fold series at the moment is still too expensive for pretty much everyone.

Well I’ve said it before, I only have a Samsung because of the Note series. So no Note, no Samsung for me. A Fold with S-pen is still way too expensive for most people.

SAD! I liked the boxier style in the note series! The S series curvier corners are meh for me!
*Also the last 2 notes had a more flat screen which was also a plus, because I also don't like edge displays, that's why I still stay with my 16:9 flat screen with normal corners S7. I only change phone after a long time and I was expecting to get the Note with the AMD GPU but it seems I'm out of luck!

Next year gonna be 1300$-2000$ galaxy smartphone with s-pen. Im done. Xiaomi please do something to compete with galaxy spen!

That is it then , that is godbuy Sasmung for good from me.
The note 20 ultra was peace of shit , there will be no notes after , so that is it.
They will continue with a stupid series like A , M the uglyest S

They're only going to release foldables powered by Exynos processors from here on.

Stupid decision. It is better to remove the S Series enitrely and move the Note series launcg to February. The Z folding series in august. It is an shame to do such move. Note is essentially the same phone as the S Series, but only more refined than the S Series. And yet, you get the S Pen, so it is an better product overall. Very very dissapointing. Maybe the Note 9 will be my last Note. Better ditch the S Series. If the S Pen doesn't come with the phone, and it needs an case, i will not buy an samsung phone again.
The camera needs refinement in extreme dark scenerios, no video 4k60fps on all lenses, no pro mode on other lens, weak battery life, exynos (hope the exynos 2100 gets better), overheat, plastic back
