in the field of gadgets & wares, the rule of thumb is... 1st to market wins!
i'd agree that driving up a small anticipation stunt for the launch of the BB10 is something good, but if the wait drags any further, the anxiety is lost and will become a turnoff.
from the looks of it, its becoming a do-or-die situation. dont keep us waiting too long.

I have the BB9900 and the Samsung Note. For every day use and communications, traveling with access to email, BBM etc, the Blackberry is the only way to go for efficiency and security. Whilst I use the Samsung to review documents and presentations, it does not do the job of a Blackberry. I look forward to the new keyboard device.

They need to tweak it a bit to avoid looking too much like the iPhone. Otherwise, skeptical as I am, it looks rather nice and who knows, they might be able to win some of their ex-fans back.

Ever since the new set of Androids back in Q1 2012, BlackBerrys have been going down like crazy, theres no use to try and make another phone to match up the other competitors. Blackberry, stay where your good at or go home.
on a side note, nobody wants a small screen anymore, so the only success i see from blackberry would be a bigger phone with a qwerty keyboard, but then why would you choose blackberry when a bunch of other phones offer the same Qwerty keyboard but with better performance than what blackberry offers?
Finally, It's a fail company, and it's time that we all admit it.

unfortunately rim need to make there hardware that works. i work in the mobile industry and we have bb8520/9300 come back to us on a weekly basis with so many faults. personally they are not a good phone. but i like the looks of this new blackberry. hopefully new ideas will help rim, good luck.
