Only maybe keeping it in the ultraexpensive one... At this rate they will end selling you some parts and asking you to build/mount your own phone. Of course, paying the brand equally. And their will tell the world that is a good thing to make them learn about it.
P.S: No RMA or damage allowed under warranty for phones mounted by customers. ;P ;D

You know what, I'm just going to stay with my S20, Samsung's phones are just so expensive and big, and I kinda liked the s20 with its slightly curved screen.

3.5mm
Notification light
IR blaster
BUT REFRAINED. And hate all phones industry.

2. Yeah samsung ... moreOh... well you now will not be able to put the pen inside the new pseudo Notes. Those great ones also had the best cameras. Last years they started to remove thing, like the jack, then segregating cameras between Note's versions... They started to kill was Note used to be some time ago... and today even the series.
Now for get something similar to what a Note 9 was... You must to buy the ULTRA, also pay for a pen the the new special cases can hold.... of course those cases will be more expensive than the regular ones so pay that too and yes, if you want a faster and more modern charger now also pay for it, and due to not have the jack, pay for the extra earburds or carry a undesirable dongle that maybe you also have to pay.
So now for buy what a Note was in the pass, now sum all that and not get surprised with the final price, becasuse sure is a lot higher than before.
It's not a coincidence that Samsung was still releasing slower chargers than competitors. Do you know a really fast charger for your Samsung? Well Now they'll more or less retain the same price in almost all the world less maybe few key countries for them. And in the rest the same one with less value inside the box. Then pay extra $$$ for all that.

No need for charger or even cable, but add an option. No need for cheap earphones, just add a jack or at least second usbc.
I at least hope they will remove usbc after they think how to get lossless audio out of device, not before just for fashion and questionable coolness.

Xiaomi ain't a bad choice but they've done some INTERESTING stuff, if I can afford it I'll go for a oneplus if not a xiaomi
Xiaomi oneplus and Sony (wth theyr finnaly coming back) are the only companies that remain kinda normal

So for the sake of argument, what is their reasoning going to be when they release the next generation handsets (Apple iPhone 13/14 & Samsung S22 / 31)?
"You guys have that charger from 2, 3, 4, etc. years ago right? Go use them. Environment Avocado. Or just buy our new chargers (including the chargers with the same charging speed as current generic ones) for extra bucks. What, are you so poor you can't afford chargers now?"
And iSheeple will rejoice and ask for more. Samsung will create some funnies and then prepare to do the same 3months later. Consumers end up paying more for less. Planet still gets the shaft.
What a dystopian future we are creating in this timeline.
