And just like that all interest I and many had is gone.
When will these companies learn not to follow Apple? Tho it makes sense, Samsung can't get away with being first to do something anti-consummer like Apple can, but once Apple does it? Everyone can, it's disgusting.

Fooling people nothing else....these companies are making money out of us....first you buy an expensive phone then you buy a charger which will be for sure an expensive one and last you buy a good wireless earphone. You people rock with your business plans.

Oh and once they are not sold and new faster ones or more modern ones are available what? The food is usually profited for something else or even gift it for free for needed people before send it to the trash... But what about all unsold chargers due to this new thing? Aside the extra cost for customers that need a new one. Don't be fooled with the we will low prices because not.., And iPhones 12 Globally show that to almost the whole world less maybe two or few countries..

Samsung i can understand if you remove the charger because there is so many more usb c to usb c chargers out there compared to apples usb c to lightening so if anyone had more incentive to remove the charger samsung had more incentive to be more environmentally friendly and the people here saying they will stick to their phone, just think about it for a second your charging brick and cable will most likely charge ur s21 series so what are u actually losing?

The charger probably costs a few bucks for them, they add it into the proce of the phone. It quite silly that apple sets the trend for the phone market. It makes more sence to take out the charger when they remove the charging port.

The most amazing thing about Samsung is we all literally saw this coming from the moment they used Apple's move as a marketing ploy.
No wonder the Chinese brands are surging, when the global brands are cranking up prices and offering immediately obvious downgrades like this!

These simple chargers companies ship usually (let's considere from 5W to 25W) probably do not cost them more than $3 to make each unit.
Now let's suppose they sell 20 million units. They would save $60 millions.
Now, let's consider the fact Samsung in USA charges $35 for the 25W charger. Outside USA, of course price is higher.
By doing this, Samsung can earn maybe more than 2 billion dollars more than providing it in the box.

remember about Shamesung :
~ Plastic back in 1000 USD Note phone.
~ Battery glued hardly (if you watch jerryrig. Samsung dont want to change your aging battery. They want you to buy new dvice in the future)
~ Exynos' country discrimination. Not too good at heavy games.
~ And now this... not include the power brick in the box
reason why last month i prefer spent my thousand dollar on Mi 10 Ultra, than Note 20U and iPhone 12.
because it use SD 865, periscope camera, and still has IR blaster at least

It seems that like Apple all the other brands are going to follow this ridiculous style of removing charger from the box. The day is not far when we won't see any ready made smartphone in the box. We might have to order the specifications and hardware and the phone may be assembled and delivered to us after some time later.

This could work, as long as Samsung implements the right policy to do it. If they really care for the environment, they could implement a trade-off program, to give old chargers in exchange for new ones for free or at a sensible discount. For people that don't have any charger, just lower the price of their phones (a long shot, but possible), so buying the phone and the charger costs the same or less than before. That, or I'm being naive.
The only thing I know for certain, is that Apple is a trendsetter, for better and for worse.
