But, Iphone 12 Pro Max has consistently worse White Balance, over saturated colours like samsungs, and over sharpening artifacts compared to the Iphone 11 Pro max. Iphone and Pixels usually have the best and most natural colours of all brands. But, at 2020, i think that title inly goes to the pixels, since Iphones have bad colours, WB, and are way too saturated

It is indeed the budget/mid range phone of the year.. Nord is a joke with cheap build quality.

It gets it's a$$ kicked by budget phones likes Redmi note 9 pro 5g with big HM2 Sensor which gives better image quality in many conditions than the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with HM1.

[deleted post]The camera of the Mi 10 Ultra has changed my perception of Mi images. The excellent high quality (which is better than any Samsung mobile phones in 2020) makes me look forward to the performance of Mi 11.------Ice Universe.

Image quality is excellent through all cameras in all conditions.
Only the Ultrawide struggles in night which is easily fixed via night mode.

All flagships and midrange are even great performing nowadays, though, unless you point an slow motion cam at your phone to see an difference or playing nonstop heavy titles games.
Reason i don't put iphone 12 series and Note 20 series is because they thorttle easily, thus excluding them

All software, even chinese ones, are great since they are based on android 10, you just need to get used to them and their services/bloatware

... moreMi 10 ultra is the camera phone of the year as no one will choose Huawei p40/Mate 40 series without working Google Play services.
People will not buy a phone just for the camera.
Mi 10 ultra is pretty neck and neck with the Huawei's camera, certainly better in some conditions and it offers working Google Play services.

It doesn't need a night mode to have good image quality through 5x and 2x zoom cameras.
They even have a working Gcam although one doesn't even need the gcam as stock image quality is breathtaking.

I mean it is useless at night, no night mode for 2x and 5x camera, and the results are too dark and noisy, they are just unusable. And if you zoom 5x at night mode, they digitally zoom from the main cam instead, so the zoom cams at lowlight are practically useless

Best cameras is the Mate 40 Pro Plus.
Mate 40 Pro = Blurry night photos, not so steady videos, not wide ultrawide, weird colours and WB
Note 20 Ultra = overprocessing, oversaturated, night mode lacks in extreme darkness
Iphone 12 PM = no extra versetality/zoom, ultrawide lowlight sucks, oversharpening
Mi 10 Ultra = weird colours, 2x telephoto and 5x telephoto useless at night
Xperia 5 ii = Weird and oversaturated colours, no detail at all in night shots, noisy shots in night, no HDR at all
