No doubt android is ios copy but we must admitt that android is now better and improving day by day yes if Nokia choose android then Samsung wouldn't successfull because Samsung quality doesn't match high quality of Nokia regarding hard ware......but credit goes to Samsung for Cheap androids for every one......this year confirm us after launch of iPhone 5,window 8 & Samsung note 2 for future winners

Sweeeet! SGS3 is undoubtedly the benchmark for overall smartphone tech in 2012 so it's good to see it coming to WP8. Having said that I do question the real-world usefulness, but at least it'll silence critics of WP's underpowered lineup.
Nokia may have called Samsung out, but all Samsung has to do is stick WP8 on an SGS3 and Nokia will have to hae somethign special up its sleeve!

I don... moreWhy? Nokia makes good phones but i passed on the Lumia 710 for the HTC Radar. I didnt like the feel of the 710 and didnt like the physical button bar.
Ive had Nokia phones and would again but i dont really care who makes the Windows 8 phone. I only care which one i prefer.

Nokia is actually a great company, we've all witnessed how behemoth it was.
The only problem with Nokia is: their business model aka sole partnership with Windows. It makes them vulnerable from their competitors (as it's happening now) because Windows has several partners beside Nokia..
For Windows, Nokia "is just another guy".
For Nokia, Windows "is a soul that reside in my CPU"
So, what happens if Windows Mobile can't compete with other OS?
For Windows: I still have other guys (HTC, Samsung, Nokia)
For Vendors (HTC, Samsung): I still have Android. Hey, 60% market share ain't so bad
For Nokia: mi love.. where art thou when I need you?
So the problem lies in the Nokia's business model. Not in the Nokia product itself.

aya, 20 Aug 2012i hope my s3 cud be a dual bootloader so i can switch to wp... moreI'm not very sure but Android is of Linux kernel(?) and Windows Phone is of Windows NT kernel. Porting different OSes into the same device is only possible if those OSes are of the SAME KERNEL. that's the reason why porting Firefox OS and Android OS to Nokia N9 running on Meego Harmattan OS is very possible (already done actually) because those OSes are all based on Linux kernel. So unless another developer makes a brand new OS based on Windows NT kernel, all of the WP8 devices will never taste another OS.

Nokia has better build quality, signal reception, call quality, and camera. Their Clearblack tech gives them best screen for reading outdoor. They also have Rich Recording tech that is unmatched by any OEM right now.

I don't think that some one will care about any brand other than Nokia of Phones with WP OS.
So lucky Samsung because Nokia didn't adopt Android. Otherwise, no hype would be heard about Galaxy or Note..
