When i saw that photo it was even for me hard to believe that i actually took that photo with phone. It was middle of the night pitch black except the lights coming from the stage.

People don’t limit yourself if you don’t have professional gear, what you already have might turn great results if you just learn to use what you have! You might be really surprised.

Anonymous, 23 Dec 2020"long OS support" is a category of people aka &qu... moreSome very self-centred opinion here.

    1) There has being anything ground breaking or exciting on the mobile phone space for the past 3 years... Oohhh, phone camera has now bigger MP, sensor, angle... Oohhh we remove the headphone jack, oohhhh notch is the new front cover. The list goes on.

    2) On the contrary, the more professional one get in the field are the one that don't need to keep 'physically' use the product/tech to know what going on. Programmer often don't use the latest compilers or environments; system admin don't always use the latest kernels, distro, upgrades; network engineer don't always immediately update the core routers to latest softwares on core routing gears.

It often the 'tech enthusiast' like to buy and use the latest&greatest. Tech professional obtain information, research in detail on what necessary and deploy testbed if required and ONLY after confirmation, we roll them.

I've been using my phone for my main source of photography, starting from iPhone 5c (2014 - 2017), Galaxy Note8 (2017-2020), and Realme 6 Pro (2020 - whenever it finally dies). And trust me, on any occasion these little "underwhelming" phones would churn out really great photos if you have enough skill and tricks up your sleeves.
Heck, you guys could even give me any sub $200 phone and I'll show you how good it capable of producing great, usable photos worth to be printed & hanged on your living room wall.

Now it will be intereting to see what Sony, LG, Samsung, Oppo, Huawei, Nokia, and Apple will do in 2021 for phone photography. They surely will make the gap between phone and sub $1300 mirrorless camera even smaller in terms of photo and video quality. Can't wait for that to happen.

Not sure why Realme standout here, which arguably worst phone here with any other vendors name I mentioned, maybe with the exception of Realme's price and well, Nokia...

And by the way, I also think that Sony and LG are the only phonemakers that differ from others, at least they try to bring something new to the market. If I am not wrong, LG is the only one that makes phones with actually really good DAC inside? A heaven for the audiophiles. Sad the majority of users here care only about benchmark scores and other stupidities...

I'd rather spend my money on an M1 chip Mac and hold on my iPhone X which is slightly lower in Geekbench compared to S21. Besides the iPhone X still takes great photos but over all smartphones are too limited for pretty much everything apart from communication on the go and photography because of their small screens, not really that great value for the money. It's more interesting to get an M1 as I said.

                        The answer? You can't.

Why Android people always says this? Are you guys really limited? Are you those who think you can't do this and that before even trying, those quitters.

Haven't you heard that the best camera is the one you carry? I've done my long time with DSLR already and i just don't want to carry that big heavy camera when i can have really good camera in my pocket which is ready for me everytime. It sure isn't level of DSLR but nowdays most of the photos are looked from small screens anyway so phone camera quality can look as good as DSLR for most.

Anonymous, 23 Dec 2020Interesting that you know something that Apple doesn't... more"So, what were you smoking when you dreamt of the statement you made?"

Me? :D that was quote, not my words, neither this "an executive at a key Apple supplier told Nikkei. "The iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max are especially stronger than we estimated, while the demand for iPhone 12 is in line with the forecast, but iPhone 12 mini is a bit sluggish," the person added."

I still do not understand the logic of many users here... Samsung is forcing you to buy this, Apple forcing you to buy that... Really? It's very simple, just don't buy their phones, and if no one will buy them, they will lower the prices. There are a lot of other phones that will suit your needs. Unfortunately there are many brainwashed cutomers that vote with their wallets and not with the brains.

AnonD-966113, 23 Dec 2020Realme has good software? What on earth? For me yes. Depends on what you want in your software.
Realme is close to stock Android, but not so boring as Google Pixel software. I mean it has some added things here and there. But not so many as Samsung or Xiaomi.
They do not have any ads and the preinstalled apps are relatively low (31, compared to 65 on Note 10 for example). Not to mention they do not have any doubling apps on Google ones, like Samsung, Xiaomi have. Also, they do not "recommend" a Realme account.
For me, these things makes them a better choice than Samsung or Xiaomi.
And maybe because of these things my Realme 6 is exactly the same like in day 1, after 4 months. For example, my Samsung and Xiaomi phones in the past have lag, after couple of months and couple of software updates.
