YUKI93, 03 Jan 2021I'm honestly not sure if I would pick the V60 over the... moreVelvet 4G was also built in a different manner so those cases for the 5G won't have their camera cutouts align with the 4G's modules.

    Including the dual screen cases.

Owning LG G8 thinkQ....fingerprint works on and off. Mic just stop. Will be my last LG phone. Never have so much trouble !

KondriX, 03 Jan 2021I still consider the V50/60 series from LG one of the most ... moreYou are right about Quad DAC, only LG use it on their phones. It was because of that feature that I left the wireless audio bandwagon and not look back.

I'm honestly not sure if I would pick the V60 over the V50 despite the better chipset and active stylus support when the V50's DualScreen case relies on pogo pins instead of the USB port itself on the V60 and the V50 has a dual wide/ultrawide front camera of which the V60 doesn't have.

As for the Velvet 4G, I'm not so sure if that is a loser simply because of its dated Snapdragon 845 chipset. Even that two-year-old chipset can still perform faster than a brand new Snapdragon 765G chipset.

Even screens made by LG Display, by the way.

ReynSupreme, 03 Jan 2021LG V60 is underrated. It got what it takes to be a flagship... moreDon't worry. The dual screen or foldable(samsung) will be relevant when the fruit company makes one.

Then we will see the gushing from the tech media that relies on people buying new shinies yearly.

They made the V60 exclusive to countries that hate them.

And some YT reviewers are only recognizing the dual screen but only as part of their hours long YT yearender. They were either ignoring them or questioning their use case.

                  Weird for so called geeks.

wing may not sell well but imagine if lg never released that. they'd have been flown completely under the radar under the onslaught of all other phones on the market.

LG V60 is underrated. It got what it takes to be a flagship phone without compromises. Battery life, multitasking, great screen, good camera, powerful processor and a good speaker. Although I wish it has at least 90hrz but the battery life is enough in exchange of the huge refresh rates. The software is not the best but Android's customization is just Playstore away. Unfortunately, GsmArena did not see these as an advantage. Aphone without much of compromises in a decent price is a Winner in most part.

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2021LG products are some of the best quality phones on the mark... moreLG shrinked their worldwide coverage due to massive discredit propaganda by other companies.

If they consolidate their lines for once, it will be easier for them to update models.

There is no need for numerous versions of all these phones. Just release true global versions and stop making extra e-waste.

I still consider the V50/60 series from LG one of the most complete package smartphones, with high-resolution (V50) OLED displays, microSD, big batteries with fast-charging, very good cameras, stereo speakers, 5G, MIL-STD-810G resistance compliance and of course 3.5mm audio jack with QuadDAC for exceptional wired audio quality, LG being the only one who implemented this I think.. Oh and there are the AOP (Acustic Overload Point) mics for high quality audio recording. I guess the only thing missing is the high-refresh rate display, but not a big omission, at least for me. Overall, one of the most underrated flagships lately sadly, most of the consumers nowadays are marketing victims and vote with wallet and not with the brains..

LG's hardware is top rate. And pricing is very competitive. But their software upgrade track record is abysmal.
I just recently upgraded from LG V30. Hardware was great, loved it! But I'm very disappointed how quickly that phone got software updates and even worse, security updates.
Unfortunately, they lost me as a customer this round. Maybe in 2-3 years when it's time to upgrade my current phone, I'll consider them again.
They should just release Android One phones. LG hardware but pure Android software directly from Google.

LG products are some of the best quality phones on the market yet they're criminally underrated.
The updates are on point, the UI is now basically OneUI, and they take care of everybody: SD card, headphone jack, wireless charge etc.
In the USA, the Velvet is killing it and completely trashes anything else at this price point.

On the other hand, OnePlus' weak products are hyped so much they overshadow LG. And this is what's wrong with the smartphone world: the objectivity is absent and the brand with the most clicks and views wins: Samsung, Apple, One Plus.

LG is not perfect though. They should really release their phones on a worldwide scale. Yet they prefer selling displays to Apple and Samsung.
