I'm using a "loser" (V60) and I think that this is the best phone for its price considering its processors and misc (3.5mm jack with Quad-Dac for immersive audio experience, a huge 2-day battery, an awesome clear and color accurate despite the lower-resolution and refresh-rate; an optional Dual Screen for enhancing work; Wacom AES stylus support, many more to tell!

Second generation Lg Wing will be the phone to watch out for in 2021 with a more competitive processor and better core specifications. Imagine having 120hz OLED on the primary panel and 865 level of performance with 'that' form factor under $1000. It would a great deal for those looking beyond the common slabs.
If only LG would improve their software support with more frequent and faster delivery of patches.

It would have helped the V60 if more markets could have received the better looking white version as well as the 256GB option, ideally without the bundled accessories I still haven't even opened after three months of ownership. The phone itself is an absolute pleasure to own and use, seeing how I don't particularly care about its photography chops. I got used to its ridiculous size in no time and beyond that its just so thoroughly sensible. Like 4 days battery life. LG are really their own worst enemy.

May the LG Wing be a lesson.
It was NOT meant for selling bazillions units but still made to be profitable while bringing diversity, and it succeeded.
THIS is what the Android market should be doing, making a niche product like that and having it being successful prove that it is totally doable to make many iterations of the same core phone with variations, being in the size, thickness, camera, display and front camera design (notch, punch hole, bezel, pop up camera/fulldisplay) and all that.
A phone like that could be made to still sell millions of units, even per sub-variants, and be a heck of profitable.
It isn't because a NICHE product didn't sell gigatons of them that making diversity with more casual oriented base design but still many variations that it won't sell, if anything it would sell better as people who would not buy the regular one as it won't fit their tastes would now be able to pick one of the sub-variant, so it would hit way more customers, including being good enough for potential niches as an okay phone to have as it is the closest to their tastes.
If anything, making sub-variant of a single phone mean having the same customer range as with multiple models, each one opening a new customer type, but with a single model and all variations taking advantage of reusability, common software code, grouped updates, same production line with only variations or branching & re-merging rather than multiple independent ones, it would cost next to nothing for the additional model variations to be made compared to the cost of creating a totally new phone, but the total number of phone potentially sold would be much bigger, allowing for more overall profits.

Velvet 5G is not a winner for that price. I do however, feel that the Velvet series can improve if they give it the Dimmensity processors from now on to make the phone(s) cheaper while still offering great performance. Couple that with better camera and high refresh rate, and you have a winner.
The V60 is only a loser by not releasing it worldwide. THIS phone I felt was the most underrated flagship of 2020 with everything you could want in a phone minus telephoto and higher resolution/refresh rate. I would have gotten it had it had a 2K@90Hz display at least.
