"Xiaomi also boasted about being the company that brings the least system apps" - They're talking about 12.5, but i know from experience that MIUI 11 is bloated like all of the other OEM UIs out there. At least Xiaomi likes to give choice, on phones like the Redmi 7 there is a well supported version of LineageOS 18.x (clean Android 11 but better). With luck, if you don't have a phone that will update to MIUI 12.5 or you don't like MIUI, you can see if your model is supported by the project.

A workaround is to i stall Miui control centre app from playstore and use that instead of the default one. But still it's a hassle. Just want them to fix it. Using a Mi 10 and the device experience is ruined by such frustrating bugs.

What I did for Telegram was to use the menu button to bring up the app previews and then tap and hold to be able to select the padlock to lock it... Once everything else is set up correctly, it should work (even though Battery optimization settings for apps reset on every reboot); good luck. :)

Lol for apple they include all system apps including app store, but for miui they exclude YouTube, Google play and all other android services.

In this update (hopefully) they fix the stuttering and slow downs in Redmi K20 Pro because it's now really a problem! My phone hangs out of nowhere! And I hope they give more animations to Poco launcher if possible

I just want to know why they removed the front facing filter on camera of REDMI series from miui 11 update together with the miui 12 it is now the same filter from the back camera, hope they will fix it soon. The filters before are most a like with the iphone but now it's getting worst it has the same filter from the back camera.
