Apple Technology --> No originality or innovation (property of Samsung)
iOS --> No originality (Everyones iOS is the same across the board Android gives you originality)
iOS --> Purpose to patent things and make $ from the consumer. (Android will always work for the consumer to make what we want)
Iphone build quality --> Made in China (Heavy does not mean durability)
Design --> No originality or innovation (Seriously, retangle with round corners)
Apple Lawsuit --> Proof of no originality (Cannot compete in mobile technology so must turn to manipulating the law)
Patents --> Don't mean originality or innovation but who can patent it first.
I will never buy an Apple product because they are a group of Money Hungry Leaches and will never have be able to compete truly in the mobile industry!

One could regard it as highly inappropriate for a jury who may not be fully IT literate but chosen at random to determine the fate in many respects of this increasingly important sector of the communications economy.

what i dont like about the patent system is that even if you did or didnt invent something, whoever patents it first gets the rights to that technology.whoever is granting these patents are just fools and its creating unfair business practace in apples favour.
Every thing apple has released is a copy from every manufacturer, yet because they filed for the patent it means they can sue manufacturers and claim the technology was apples. touch screens, pinch to zoom, screen icons, slide to unlock were all about before apple released the iphone on windows linux, all they do is take the best technology thats out, put it all together with some splash of colour, brainwash people with their marketing then claim they invented and own it, its revolutionary and sue everyone else. i really despise apple at the moment, ive recently moved from iphone to the gs3 and yes the gs3 is far superior in every way despite what excuses apple fans say. it is the top phone period. i will never buy apple products after this. android on the gs3 is far superior in every way, you only realise this once you own one and jump off the apple brainwash wagon. Apple really sucks atm, im rooting for samsung as i have now seen the light.

This is a sad day indeed.
With all respect if law would judge things like this as infrignation then it might very well be flawed.
Mobile phones so called innovation comes in three sections: shape, hardware and software.
As for shape, all basic design elements comes from nature (or god pick yours) like rectangle and round like edges. Combining these elements make both beautiful and hideous shapes alike,and same goes for usability.
So unless you Copy the entire design (like typical look) you should not be infringing anyone right ,because a single detail can make or break the look.
Example is you can paint or sculpt something similar but you won't be stealing anything unless you completely copy it or copy imagination based elements (like fantasy universes and fictional character as they don't exist naturally).
As for hardware: if you can make it without stealing plans then you deserve to unless you copy some copyrighted stuff. For example you can't copy amoled screens bluetooth without permission but you can make quad core processor, 8 mp cams and same resolution screens if you can.
And last on software: unless you work with the same programming language (and able to copy walls of text right into your software) then you should be able to copy EVERY feature all you want bit again not being able to copy the exact look same as in shape category.
This might sound strange or unfair but without such freedom monopoly is a sure result and that is a very bad thing in the long run.
Sorry for the long post and my possibly lousy English but I just had to vent it out.

well i still think Apple products dont deliVer much functionality... its very limited in a way that people need to buy the stuff that they need to get it... its very selfish and people lose one important thing...

ahh, well display is display but os is os, what is the problem here. I don't really know the legal bs but I do know I the consumer deserves quality and I really find android quality. Apple charges too much. debatable for sure. lol we could and will go on. :-)

husam, 26 Aug 2012Most of the people that used i phone now changed to samsung... moreyou gotta be kidding me :D no one who have and use an iPhone will go to any other brand,at worse he will try ,decide and come back to apple in no time...i am the owner of 3 iPhones and one galaxy s3,i can tell you that ios is better than android,that i am happy with my iPhone and that i will put the gs3 for sale on eBay ASAP
