They refused access to the servers to the Russian government and Telegram is/was actually blocked in Russia because government had no control over it. Get your facts straight and stop spreading nonsense.

The point is facebook allows people to sell illegal firearms, shows videos of beheading, even child abuse...and even when reported hasnt taken stuff down.
This is the same company that owns whatsapp...
America was built on slavery...China was built on communism...as was Russia.
But EVERY nation has an agenda, and its often not as clear as black and white - grey areas do happen to. You may not find that in a book.

I fully agree that more attention should be paid to cybersecurity in 2021. This means that the transfer of personal data to third parties becomes absolutely impossible. At the moment, the number of Telegram and Signal installations is breaking all records, but how safe can an application be that requires the use of a phone number?
