This comment right here just shows that you haven’t experienced Face ID. I’m using both Face ID and fingerprint scanner and Face ID is lot more intuitive, the more you need fps the better Face ID gets.
Trend is now that more and more apps can be locked behind authentication and so if you want to use that you need to press that fps everytime when you open those apps, for example i have had whatsapp behind Face ID for a long time, for you it would be one extra step everytime when you want to check your whatsapp. For me it feels like it’s not even locked. Same with banking apps. Automatic information fill in websites and so on. You need to use it to understand why it was instant hit among users.
I’m so glad that my next iPad Pro will have Face ID.

Shameless iBoyzz have been repeating same talking points since a decade.
Iboyzz are ignorant about the Cons of being in a walled Garden ecosystem. Simply clueless about features that other people use. Another reason why this company is at the bottom of the barrel when it comes to innovation in the smartphone segment since Apple knows they can refuse to give their users anything new and they'll accept it like a little Sl^ve.

It is nice that it took them years to perfect tech that others already had released and others was enjoying thus proving they so slow behind tech. TBH they need to hold back tech and then release it and charge more for their devices. Guessing to people like you 120hz displays havent been perfected yet right? Only when Apple do it i guess but at least theres Youtubers put there like MKBHD and others who are using 120hz panels on the Androids

You Apple f... moreLMFAO...so it’s super clear that you’ve never experienced the conveniences of FaceID since you’re so quick to to dismiss anecdotal statements as lies.
I had the S9+ and the iris scanner was next to useless. For it to work you had to align your eyes to the markers on the screen. It was extremely slow and cumbersome. It was nowhere near in the same league as FaceID.
Really hope that Apple instead develop their FaceID to detect the iris or even retina in wide angles when full detection doesn’t work when wearing a mask.
Passive biometrics is the future and this pandemic will eventually go away. Touch ID will only be a short term solution if they do bring it back.

What Apple need to do is to remove face unlock and reintroduce fingerprint unlock (as in-display), and in the process ged rid of the stupid notch (which they couldn't because the sensors for face unlock were just too big).
Let's face it nobody needs that over-engineered crap when a simple fingerprint scanner is just as reliable and fast. Don't tell me that you need it for using your iPhone hands-free because that's some major BS excuse.

[deleted post]No, I actually corrected those "points", as you obviously just throw "facts" that doesn't match the reality.
That's a funny conclusion because I am an Android person, tell a lot about who is wrong here.
There are 4 brands I hate and that are really the worse, not because of their phones, but because of how they act with customers, they are Apple, Google, OnePlus and Samsung, it would take a miraculously good and cheap phone with the features I really want the most for me to take one of their phone.
But it doesn't prevent me from having an objective thinking and being able to recognize the good things they do.
