The benchmarks choose here are outdated and meant for last gen hardware and not good at all to compare this gen hardware. Especially the likes of nenamark 2.

You really shouldn't use nenamark 2 to bench the s3 or note 2 as it most of the time hits the 60fps cap so you don't get even close to the actually speed to the gpu. Further more I have ran a app called mali stats from xda developers which shows you what frequency the gpu is at in real time. On nenamark 2 it shows that the gpu is only working about 3/4 off max performance. Nenamark 2 really isn't very good, you should use basemark es 2 which will show you the true performance of a gpu. The adreno 225 is pretty crap next to the 440mhz mali-400mp4 (mp4 = quad core gpu) but as this benchmark is not good at all, it doesn't show any where near accurate results.

Sony just kicked the living crap out of Samsung. Their dual core 1.5 GHZ phones with ICS beat Samsung's quad core 1.6 GHZ with Jelly Bean phone.

All these comparison makes no sense. There is pretty small difference among all these power packs. Every set has its own identity and will win consumer's heart basing not these idiotic comparison.

Benchmarks are pretty much too close. In the end it will be reduced to ergonomics, feel, screen real estate and features, with Sony taking advantage in the first two categories and Samsung in the two latter. I'd like to see an extensive review on TX's and V's features, something like Samsung did with the Note, that looks quite impressive features wise http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DcgZum8M1o&feature=player_embedded

Whatever the rank in benchmark is, Note 2 is the new king replacing current Galaxy Note. Good job Sammy. You're more than a King.
